Up for auction is a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Sedan 4-Door 2.0L with a Clear Title. We are the 2nd owners and have had the car since 2004. It has been garage kept for most of that time and the vast majority of the 220,000 miles are interstate miles. It starts right up and has no major mechanical issues with the engine or transmission. Some details:Paint is in good shape and still shines well! Due to interstate travel, there are many small chips on the front of the vehicle from gravel and other road debris. The interior is in good shape with no tears, major stains or major wear. Headliner is in good shapeDash is in great shape with NO cracks Engine does not leak oilAll 4 tires are in great shape. They are either very new or fairly new. There is a lot of tread left.I am only selling it because we got another car. (The car is still driven, so mileage will tick up a bit, but not much) Issues:The paint has random small chips and blemishes from years of interstate driving, but has been garage kept for most of its life, so no sun damage. There are also door dings and a dent on the front roof support on the passenger side. There are some scratches, but nothing serious. The engine consumes some oil, so requires the occasional quart. Time varies on your driving distance. The down button on the radio does not work well, but does if pressed a few times (Up works fine).First, THE ENGINE DOES NOT OVERHEAT. The in-dash temperature sensor is not working properly. Occasionally it will show the car overheating, even immediately when the car is first turned on for the day (AGAIN, THE ENGINE DOES NOT OVERHEAT). The engine has a brand new motor fan (installed 5/24), a brand new coolant temperature sender (installed 5/22), a new radiator (installed <1 year ago), new thermostat (installed <6 months ago). The only other things it can be is the coolant temperature sensor or the gauge itself. I have purchased a coolant temperature sensor from Auto Zone, but have not installed it. It's a $20 item that I will throw in for free. Please message me if you have any questions
