This car is super rare, it's 1 of only 6 ever produced in the Martinique Yellow Pearl color with the SL Spyder convertible package with retractable Hard top, not a soft top. It's stunning. Has Ivory Leather interior. Only 1,034 Spyder convertibles were offered for sale in 2 year run of 1995 & 96. There were only 19 yellow Spyders ever made...13 in the VR4 trim and only 6 in the SL trim. This SL version is production #2 of the 6 made in 1995.Clean carfax...in fact I have a carfax report on all 6 of these rare cars.This vehicle was purchased along with some other very rare cars from a private collection in Southern California. I had them brought here to Madison, WI. The previous owner bought this vehicle in 2009 from Utah (I have all records & paperwork) and had it stored in his climate controlled garage only to be driven on nice days up the Pacific coast Hwy. Previous to that, the vehicle spent it's time in Utah. So this vehicle has never seen winter or salt and I question weather it has ever been driven in rain due to how clean it is. This is the 1995 SL package with 3.0L V-6, Automatic. Only 69,300 pampered miles. Everything works, Retractable hardtop functions perfectly & Air Conditioning blows ice cold. Infinity stereo with 6 disc changer and an "aux" port to connect your I-pod or phone. Loaded with all power options & adjustable suspension.Interior: Ivory Leather, No rips or tears, clean with original Spyder floor mats.Mechanical: Just serviced the vehicle with brand new OEM timing belt, belt tensioners, Idler pulleys, water pump, coolant flush & refill, new camshaft seals plus Oil change, along with complete safety inspection. Everything is in amazing shape. Replaced front brake rotors & pads with full brake fluid flush. Work was recently done by Foreign Car Specialists here in Madison, WI. The 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twin Turbo was the last model year of this great grand touring sports car. According to one source, only 274 were made to be imported to the U.S. market with a fair number of these meeting a “grisly fate” (not sure what that means but at least 10% are listed as totaled) making this the most desirable and rare of this model with such low production run. The car offered here is chassis number 152 and is the 249th one built. This 3.0L, DOHC, V6 with MPI fuel injection, 24-valve, 320HP twin-turbo, all wheel drive, 6-speed overdrive manual transmission, is all black inside and out. This beautiful car is a ONE OWNER car and has less than 94,000 miles on it and has never been in an accident. I bought this car in 1999 and it has been in my possession since purchase. This is a stock car with no modifications except I added a driver’s side seat heater (winters gets cold in Wisconsin). The car is in excellent mechanical condition. For all the details pertaining to this particular car, see the picture of the original car sticker. Original price sticker, car manual, 10-CD changer, retracting rear window sun shade / compartment hider, floor mats, cup holder tray in arm rest, ash tray, etc., all still present. Power sun roof, power antenna, power side mirrors, power windows, etc., all work great. This car runs like a dream. All oil changes and maintenance done per schedule including the timing belt change at 60,000 miles. The leather interior seats are in great shape with no rips or tears except for one very small hole in a rear seat. Also, due to stupidity on my part (long story and irrelevant anyway…), there two (new) different styles of wheels on the car. Both very nice, just not matching. Tires are like new. The fine print. There are two current issues with this car. First is the left front anti-lock brake sensor has failed. The brakes work great but this means that if you slam on the brakes they will lock up like cars of old. Replace the sensor and all is good. The other issue is that the power steering motor/pump is not operating. The car is perfectly drivable but there is currently no power steering requiring some arm strength at slow speed. Due to these relatively minor deficiencies, I am pricing this rare and desirable car for a quick sale to the lucky person who knows about these things and acts quickly. Will you be that lucky person? So why am I selling it? I’m 63 years old, own five cars and a motorcycle and it’s time to start downsizing a bit. Besides, I now have arthritis in the hips and it’s hard for me to get in and out of it. I love this car and it’s been my baby for 16 years. But now it’s time for someone else to love it. I have a Quick Mitsubishi 3000 gt 3.0 v6 base model I'd like to sell. ONLY has 71,000 miles on it with a lot of life left in it to live! Replaced the original engine with an imported used engine from japan with approx. 50,000 miles on the engine. The body has about 125,000 miles on it. I also installed a new water pump and timing belt kit on the used engine. Replaced both front and rear brakes. New driver side window regulator. Also have a spare passenger window regulator. Has kenwood speakers with a boss amp in the trunk of the car.

Either my Corporation or myself have owned the vehicle since 1988. I purchased it with 23,232. miles on it. I have never driven it in the snow and it was always one of my summer cars, so it has always been stored indoors. I know the guy who had it before me and he has always stored it indoors and did not drive it in snow either. If you wash it and wax it you will draw crowds at the pump as it looks like a new car. The leather on the drivers seat and the boot for the shifter could use some touch up. The car is a super strong runner. I love the car, but have always had 3 or 4 cars and am single and am now 65 and selling 3 of my cars and down sizing to one old daily driver sedan. I have not had it licensed since 2013, as I do not get to drive it as I have been out of the country in the summer or on my boat.No one has ever smoked in the car, that I am aware of, prior owner was a non smoker also. You will love the car. Just hope you can retain your license. lolThe car is stored in my storage building in Marinette, Wisconsin. You must make an appointment to see it and hear it run.
