You are bidding on a 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. It is a twin turbo, AWD, 4 wheel steering, six speed. It has leather interior, sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, active aero, power windows, locks, and an upgraded sound system. I purchased this car six years ago when it had 145,000 miles on it. Since then I have done the following:- New Stillen down pipe and HKS exhaust. (no cats)- New struts and strut mounts. - Adjustable rear control arms from 3SX. - At 156,000 miles I rebuilt the engine which included new pistons, rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, timing belt and tensioner, water pump, oil pump, spark plugs, wires, and coil pack.- Installed DR500 turbos, manual boost control, Go Fast Bits BOV- Hot wired high volume fuel pump.- Within the last 2,000 miles I installed 560cc injectors, Dynamic Racing/Split Second ARC2 fuel management system which includes new MAF and intake.-Within the last 2,000 miles the transmission was rebuilt with new synchronizers, bearings, gaskets, and seals. New clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing installed at the same time. Other modifications include: halos, pillar mounted boost gauge, white gauge faces, pioneer CD unit with Bluetooth, 300 watt amp, Bass Canon subwoofer, all new speakers. Wheels are like new and Michelin tires have about 80 percent tread life. Interior is original but in decent shape for age and miles. Body has minor dings and scratches you might expect for a 20 year old car. The odometer may say 186,000 miles but as you can see a lot of the maintenance, modifications, and upgrades have all been done within the last 40,000 miles. The car is mechanically sound, very fast and a blast to drive.
