1997 Chrysler Town & Country LXi ** Mechanic Handyman Special ** Needs Transmission 151000 Miles$2200.00 in repairs done in the past year, now the transmission is starting to go and will need to be repaired or replaced. Van still runs but won't go over 30 Mph or shift into drive. You only get 2 low gears and reverse. Check engine light is on because of the transmission issue. Engine runs strong oil changed every 3 to 4000 miles. Just replaced ( August 2014) The brake Power Booster and Master Cyclinder, (December 2014) A/C Compressor and Serpentine Belt and A/C Recharge, (January 2015) Replaced the Cam Position Sensor also (August 2014) Replaced front Brakes , Rotors, and Calipers, (May 2014) replaced plugs and wires, & a 3 Year old Diehard HD Battery. Please check all the photos.The paint has the Chrysler clear coat peeling Curse on all the top surfaces.There is a spot of rust on the right rear panel above the wheel and some coming up on the rear hatch.There is a scuff / scratch on the front bumper and a parking lot dent on the right front fender above the wheel. The interior is Gray with leather seats and is in fair condition. A Great Mini-Van to repair for a Family or for Work!
