2006 Mini Cooper JCW GP #1156 out of 2000 worldwide. Only 415 in the United States. The car has cover just over 42,000 miles. The interior is a 10/10. It currently has a CAE shifter installed but the original shifter and trim pieces are also included and still look brand new. The R53 GP is the most enjoyable Mini Cooper to drive; I think it's more engaging and enjoyable than the 2013 R56 GP. The car has full service records, new tires and a clean title (in hand). This GP is one of the lowest mile cars I've seen in a while and they don't come for sale often to begin with.

This 2006 Mini is a fine example of the Mini GP. number 1746 with 74000 miles, all maintenance records in hand. Clutch and supercharger recently serviced. questions 406 547 3796The Mini Cooper S with John Cooper Works GP Kit (GP1) was built as a “Body in White” car at the Mini Plant in Oxford before being shipped to Bertone in Italy for assembly, hand finishing and painting. It was limited to a production run of 2000 cars during the 2006 model year, with only 451 of those intended for the US market. The Cooper S engine was tuned to produce 218 BHP and 245Nm of Torque, which propel the GP from 0-62mph in under 6.0secs. The GP features a larger Intercooler over the Cooper S, and a Limited Slip Differential as standard. The “Thunder Blue” paint was exclusive to the GP and the Pure Silver roof and Chilli Red mirror caps make it instantly recognisable. The remodelled front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, under-body panelling and carbon fibre boot spoiler all help improve aerodynamics, and the exclusive lightweight 18” alloy wheels and JCW brakes ensure it handles and stops as well as it looks. The standard steel R53 rear-axle trailing arms were also removed and replaced with lighter stiffer aluminium units. The rear screen’s rear wiper was also deleted to save more weight. Inside in place of the rear seats; a flat loading platform and an aluminium strut brace is fitted. The 3-spoke leather sports multifunction steering wheel looks after the radio and cruise control. Each car is individually numbered 0-2000 with the number proudly displayed on the roof and dashboard.

We are proud to offer this 2006 Mini Cooper GP #1156 of 2000 for sale. This Mini Cooper is a bit special, a road-going evolution of the Cooper S Challenge race cars. Called the GP it’s one of a limited run of 2000. Just 415 were US-bound. Our GP is #1156 out of 2000 with little over 40k miles. Motor is a supercharged 1.6 making 215bhp@6250rpm, 184lb ft@4600rpm, 6.5sec 0-62mph and top speed of 150mph. This is a 2 seat car, the back seat are factory deleted for weight and handling matters. Condition is great. No issues. This car has always been maintained at a Mini dealer in Florida. No accidents at all. Car is beautiful and so much fun to drive. Inspections are more than welcome by appointment before the auction ends. Buyer is responsible for shipping but we can assist. A non refundable US$1000 dollars deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. Balance is due within 5 business days via wire transfer, cashiers check or cash in person only. We reserve the right to end the auction at any time, since car is advertised locally as well.
