2004 Mini Cooper S We are pleased to present this absolutely gorgeous Mini Cooper S! This is the top of the line mini for 2004, and is finished in an absolutely stunning black color which REALLY makes it stand out when combined with its two tone black and contrasting tan interior. It's loaded with options, and fitted with Mini's very powerful supercharged 4 Cylinder engine and 6 speed manual transmission. This combination makes it SO fun to drive. It's almost like a go-kart! The interior of this Mini is in very, very good condition. It has GORGEOUS leather heated seats which are in fabulous condition. The hand brake lever is leather-wrapped, as is the steering wheel. The car has the premium Harman/Kardon audio system which features several speakers, along with a CD Player AND a CD Changer. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker.There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages and two unused ash trays. This Mini has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags. There are also curtain airbags. The cargo area is larger than you'd expect for such a small car, and the rear seats fold flat. It makes this an extremely useful and practical car. The carpet floor mats are included and are in good condition. One thing I'd like to mention is that these cars are HUGE inside! I'm 6'3" tall and weigh 240lbs, and I fit easily. In fact, I don't even have to put the seat all the way back like I do in most cars. The exterior of this Mini is in stunning condition and has only a few dings and scratches. It is Jet Black in color, which is a non-metallic black. It's quite stunning. The car has its original MINI vintage 17 inch alloy wheels which are in fantastic condition. The car has had only one owner since it was new, and seems to have been serviced exceptionally well. There is a dent near the top of the trunk by the Mini emblem, and we have an appointment to have this removed with paintless dent removal. There also some minor door dings on the car. The car has Xenon HID Gas Discharge headlamps with high-pressure headlight washer jets. Xenon headlamps are fantastic at night and put out greater than twice the light of conventional headlamps. The washer jets also come in handy in the winter to prevent buildup of snow and ice on the lights. The tires are in great shape with very good tread life remaining. They are the proper tires for the car. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary BMW/Mini Inline 4 cylider supercharged engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. We performed a tune-up on the car in our on site BOSCH Service Center. The transmission also operates properly, and the clutch is excellent. The car has traction and stability control, which make this a truly usable car in the winter. It's very smooth, while still shifting crisply. These cars are known for being mechanically reliable. Fun, quick, and stylish... I purchased this 2006 MINI Cooper S in 2012 with roughly 35,000 miles. I have used this car as my daily driver for the past 2 years without a hiccup. Cosmetically, the car is in great shape. Rims do have some curb rash. Mechanically, the car is sound. I religiously changed the oil in the car with Mobil 1 fully synthetic every 4500-5000 miles (MINI recommends every 15,000 miles which is crazy in my opinion). Car comes with oil and filter for its next change (due at 75,000 miles). Air filters (cabin and engine) were replaced each year. I replaced the spark plugs at 45,000 miles even though they showed very little sign of wear. I put new tires on the car less than a year ago and they have plenty of tread left on them. Windshield had a few chips in it from stones on the highway so I replaced the windshield about 6 months ago and it's still crystal clear. The 2006 MINI Cooper S was the last year for MINI to put a supercharger in their S model (they now have turbos). With the supercharger and sport suspension (both stock), the car is a blast to drive. Garmin GPS is included in the sale. I also have a portable Sirius Satellite Radio (not pictured) that I will include in the sale if interested.
