This is a 1968 Riley Elf, MkIII original Mini. These were the luxury models of the original Minis/Mini Coopers. I purchased it from its previous owner in Manchester U.K. These cars are extremely rare her in the U.S.A. because this model of Mini was never imported here. This car in not original. The car was converted to dry suspension by the previous owner (considered by many to be an upgrade), and a sunroof. It has a standard 998cc (1ltr) engine with a great 4 syncro 4 speed manual transmission. New tires, brakes upgraded to later 8.4" discs in front with super minifin alloy drums in the rear. 12" Cooper alloy wheels. Upgraded to alternator, later upgraded starter, aluminum radiator with auxiliary electric fan, silicon radiator hoses, aluminum valve cover, electronic ignition. The wiring harness has been upgraded from a later model Mini along with the locking steering column. The original steering wheel was retained with the Riley badge. This car has been upgraded with a cigarette lighter to charge your phone. Brand new carpet, shift boot. New paint, new rear tail lamp lenses, new chrome bumpers.
