This is one Sweet Little Ride !! The ONLY reason for sale is practicality, we have a two year old and getting him in the backseat could be described as an act of cruelty, or just plain incompetence. Either way your likely to find a video of me entering the backseat on youtube, where it will be mocked for years to come. I have also taken on a field engineering role at work, which see's me traveling more often than I'm at home. Hence I needed more room and "ruggedness"- read new England snow... So I bought, a Wrangler Unlimited. Anyways, onto the car..... We love this thing, I can't drive it without an ear to ear smile; it loves to be driven quickly, especially in the corners. I had pipe dreams of getting into autocross and perhaps just keeping it around as a fun car. Finances aren't bad, but I'm not at the point where I can justify having a weekend car, especially with my other "toys" and hobbies. I purchased Sheldon (get it...Sheldon Cooper) about three years ago for my wife as an anniversary present knowing that on certain (hopefully many) occasions I would have the privilege of driving it. I purchased it from MINI of Peabody (highly recommend by the way) as a certified pre-owned vehicle with just under 60k miles. She came fully equipped, with every available option. including full iPhone compatibility/control located in the glove box. An auxiliary input was also professionally installed under the radio on the left side pillar. The supercharger wines like it should and the little 1.6 motor churns out ponies like a champ. The only engine performance modification is a K&N filter with a couple thousand miles of inhaling on it. The brake rotors where getting a bit grimy, so I installed drilled and slotted rotors and new high friction pads all around. The stock brakes are good but these will absolutely stop on a dime ! Yes, the child in me is very much alive and well....so i painted the stock calipers red. The oil was changed with Mobil 1 Synthetic, every 6k miles. Mini recommends changes every 15k but I thought that was a bit long. Transmission fluid is RedLine changed about 15k miles ago. Tires are the Continental SSR's, they are runflats and can be slightly harsh, but as this is an S you don't have the spare as the battery lives in the trunk. Tire life is good with about 80% left. I just had it inspected this month and brought it to the Mini dealership where they also performed a rigorous check and swapped out the passenger airbag sensor, which was a recent recall. Now...on my way to a Paragliding lesson a few months back, I was unfortunate enough to meet a fabulous NH redneck and managed to tap the back end of his Subaru. This was due to him being a careless driver (I'll just refer to him as such) with a child in the car who thought it would make for good entertainment to slam on his brakes as I attempted to pass him. This caused some minor front end damage, mostly cosmetic save for a punctured radiator. Everything was professionally repaired and OEM parts by a friend of mine who own's a body shop. He also added the wicked powerful led driving lights you see in the picture. There was a small dent in the hood from the previous owner and as the entire hood was replaced with a new one, the car is better than when I bought it. There is a crack maybe 2" on the top part of the rear bumper, it was also there since the original owner and I never got around to replacing it, it's hardly visible. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions and happy bidding !!
