This vehicle is in good running condition. It's front windshield folds downward. It is accented with new condition white walled tires. Clutch, transmission is in good operating condition. Fuel pump is fine. Lots of fun and a real eye catcher.
Original, MG Convertible. Purchased back in 1956 by my father. Has been garage kept its whole life. Performed mild resto back in late 70's. Rebuilt engine, trans, all suspension, steering. 1253 cc engine, twin SU carbs, Manual 4 speed. Wheels 15"All factory original. Paint was redone around 1980. 12 volt fan upgrade on radiator. Car has been well maintained. Slight crease in left rear fender, see photo's.. Selling due to lack of use. Was purchased in 1980 to be a restoration project which due to life getting in the way I have never had time to get around to. Dismantled in 1985. 6 Wire wheels have been restored by Dayton Wire Wheel Company / 6 new Pirelli tires Engine, Transmission, Carburetor restored by The Classic MG Shop in Tallahassee in 1990 at a cost then of $5,097.97 approx. Receipts available. In 1982 I purchased an assortment of new spare parts totaling approx. $3,700.00 cost at that time. Most of the parts were the last of the original parts available from the MG Company. The car has been relocated to 4 different warehouses over the years so some smaller parts may be missing but the major parts are still all together. Full leather kits were purchased, dusty but otherwise appears to be still in great condition Mileage is a genuine 96800 miles. I still have receipts for many of the parts purchased and work done. I also have the title. No returns accepted.
