I am New to Selling On Ebay so please be patient with me This MGTD is for the purist out there . If your looking for a real shiny one you need to keep looking elsewhere I purchased this MGTD in 1970 from the original Owner who used it just on Sundays to go to church. I drove it for 2 years than tucked it away in My heated Garage for around 40 years Recently I had a good friend that is a mechanic get it all Running again Gas Tanked was flushed and sealed----- New Gas All Gas lines and Brake Lines were flushed and now workNew Fuel pump All Electrical in the Ignition System was doneAll fluids were changedNew battery Now it runs like it did 40 years ago. I drove it for 50 miles and it has good power and shifts nice. The convertible Top is in nice shape. I have the Original Windows that will go with Car. The award winning TF was considered the ultimate MG classic and it is easy to see why. Just about everything is perfectly proportioned, the length is just right and the double humps on the dash add to the speedster look and the exposed trunk on the back fits right in. Most people don't realize how spunky a MG TF is and this is partially because of the well-engineered motor and also because of its very lightweight. Chrome is all original and in excellent condition: New braking system overhaul with cylinders and new master cylinder, life long stainless steel exhaust was a new edition, 4 new tires, low mileage, complete tune-up, new frt. shocks. The engine bay and chassis shows obvious signs of use but appear clean and well maintained. The wood trimmed dashboard hosts a complete set of clear and extremely nice gauges and controls. The interior is nice and clean and the matching soft top simply puts this sophisticated driver over the top. Mechanically, it runs excellent out on the open road with excellent power and impressive handling. Overall, its a true pleasure to drive and because people just can't stop staring. And while these cars were never designed to be completely weather-tight the canvas roof and matching side curtains seal things up well enough that inclement weather won't put a damper on the party. Yes, the engine and transmission are original yes the lights are working factory directional, map light, fog lights, head lights, and taillights. And the heater works great. This is a numbers matching classic TF. The car comes with a fairly good amount of extra parts.

Purchased in 1978 in San Jose, California from a Naval Officer who used the car for fun and commuting back and forth to Moffett Field Naval Base. It is a head-turning car, fun to drive with a car club or just to take out for a little joyriding. As was the case with some MG-TD owners — the car was restored and modified over the years to suit the taste and imagination of the owner. The original engine compartment plates are in place — with matching VID/Body numbers. The car is not restored to its original condition. However, it is an excellent car for a complete restoration if desired. The engine is in good running condition. The engine is the original 1250cc 4 cylinder with twin SU carburetors that were modified with independent air filters. It has its original 4 speed manual transmission. It comes with new tires and a complete set of side curtains stored in the back compartment. It has its own tow bar (turn and break lights) that easily attaches to the front bumper to allow for transportation to car events or for relocation. It also comes with the MG Workshop Book, tonneau cover for the driving compartment and a full car cover.

LEGACY MOTORCARS LLC JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA Unleashed to the public in September 1945, the TC was MG’s first post-war production automobile. Many race car legends including Phil Hill, John Fitch, and Denise McCluggage owned and raced TC’s. Powered by the venerable XPAG 1250 cc, inline 4 cylinder engine, it was rated at 55 HP at 5,200 RPM.This numbers matching example marks the last year the TC was produced. Chassis number TC6669 was manufactured on September 1, 1948. This TC represents a long family ownership from California. Note the excellent period license plate that comes with the car. The car is a rust and accident free example, the frame has no corrosion anywhere. The horizontal radiator shutters are painted a subtle dark maroon, complimenting the exterior Sherwood green. The car is very sound mechanically. It runs and idles nicely, drives like a dream, and since in our care, the brakes have been rebuilt, shock bushings replaced, complete fluid change, and road test.The TC comes equipped with all weather equipment, top, tonneau, and side curtains. In addition it is fitted with a period Marchal driving light, Brooklands windscreen, vintage turn indicators, period correct owners manual, and a Brooklands steering wheel compliment this wonderful automobile.This is just a beautiful looking and driving 1949 MG TC! I am selling my classic 1951 MG TD. Cream-yellow exterior with black interior, black top. I purchased the car in 2007. This is car number TD/4743/EXLU. It was produced on Dec 18, 1950. It was fully restored back in 1983-8, so the paint shows some age with a few chips and cracks. The convertible top also shows its age. The tan side curtains are in very good shape. Original tools are included, plus a 14 piece set of Whitworth wrenches and sockets (metric or English do not fit this car). Detailed receipts of original restoration included. I did recorded a phone interview with the elderly gentleman who restored the vehicle back in the 80s. Very interesting stuff. Since I bought it I've had the entire engine rebuilt at Imports Unlimited in Highland Park, IL in 2012. The front and rear brakes have been totally rebuilt, also at Imports Unlimited in 2013. Over $25,000 invested. Detailed receipts included. When I bought it the odometer read 9,750 miles. I assume the odometer was replaced when the car was restored back in the 80s. It now has 12,287 on the odometer. The car drives well. No rust. It's a very nice car. See the photos. I have more if you are interested.
