Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present one of the most fun little cars to drive that we have had in a while. What you are looking at is a 1977 MGB convertible. These cars were all the rage through the 70's to the early 80's here in the USA before British Leland pulled everything back over the pond. This particular car as you see in the pics has been turned in to an SCCA rally cross type car. The body is in good shape, but obviously it is going to have a ding or dent in it from auto crossing it. This is all about, going to your local meet or track day and just having fun. Not wet sanding and going to barrett-jackson with it. The interior has been completely removed except the dash so you can see everything that is going on with your ride while you are on the track. The race seat has been mounted very solid and the race belts are in great shape. You can feel confident throwing this baby in to a corner and know that it is solid with the roll bar that has been installed. Not a lot of flash and cash here, just a ton of fun for not a lot of money. This car also does come with a removable hard top that is original to the car and fits over the roll cage with no problem. These tops alone are worth $2,000. Under the hood is a rebuilt 1979 MGB motor. The head has been redone. There is a new header, Weber carb, and all ready to go. All in all you are looking at is a whopping 115 horsepower, but with a car this light, it is like driving a go cart. You will feel like 200 mph when you are only doing 110. Bottom line is that this is a lot of car for not a lot of money at all. Get in, turn the key and get ready to carve some corners and try to take that ear to ear grin off of your face.
