1974 MG MGB GT 1974 1/2 MGBGT with Wire Wheels and Overdrive
$4,200
Catonsville, Maryland
1974 ½ MGBGT for sale in a very unusual color – citron. This is a wire wheel, overdrive car. It retains it original interior and the dash is not cracked and the seat fabric is still very good. This, last year of import, BGT comes with the original title and also the original bill of sale. It has all the warranty, “passport” info and the car was dealer serviced up to 60,000 miles. The car now has 78,900 miles. It has been repainted (the original color) at some point. It does not appear to have ever suffered collision damage. Someone has done some very sloppy body work on the doglegs and the bottom of the front fenders. The castle section and inner sill on the drivers side need replaced. The right side has some rust but, I think, the castle and sill can be salvaged. The trunk area is solid. The engine compartment is nice and original color. The engine does run but will require a tuneup, etc. Start up oil pressure is 75psi. All of the gauges and switches are good. It has good wire wheels and great tires. The exhaust system is intact. There were only about 1000 of these cars brought into the USA, before the MGBGT was no longer imported. This is the last year. It still has all the pollution equipment. It comes with the spare wheel and tire, the original jack, the knockoff wrench and original hammer. It also comes with a loose-leaf binder full of documentation. I am selling this car “as is”, with no implied warranty. Please call 410 788 0530 or 310 746 8299 with any questions. The car is located in Catonsville, Maryland. A $500.00 non refundable deposit required 48 hours after auction’s end, balance due within 10 days.

Pretty much everything but the transmission and differential has been replaced or rebuilt. Reliable (for a 40+ year old car)The BadThe paint clear coat is starting to flake. The interior carpeting in the foot well is showing its age. Rust bubble forming on left rear dogleg where panel was replaced (no other rust that I know of). Car may have been in an accident before I owned it (wavy looking inner right fender well by oil cooler, car tracks straight on road though) Hood slightly bent from popping up while driving (Not shown, will take new pictures when possible)I'm putting this car up for sale because I can't care for it the way I want to. MG : MGA 1956 mg mga convertible roadster fun driver
$14,750
Glen Arm, Maryland
1956 MG MGA 1600 ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE FUN DRIVER. This is the first model year for the MGA in America. Has original U.S. left hand steering wheel. Has almost new black vinyl convertible top and shiny steel exhaust system. Engine runs fine, I don't know if it was ever rebuilt, does not smoke and is hitting on all six cylinders. Oil pressure and water temperature are good. This is a 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. It has a slight syncronizer noise when in neutral but clutch is good and shifts normal to me for a 60 year old sports car. Good shiny red paint done several years ago. Bodywork is good with no rust. Driver side rocker panel, fender, door not aligned properly as shown in pics. This gets all the waves and looks and is a fun driver, not a show car. It has some gauges working and some not. Lights not working other than brake lights as I have never driven it after dark and have not bothered to find out details. This a good inexpensive car to get started with and not a concourse winner. The black interior is pretty okay but not perfect either as again shown in pics. You can work on it this winter if you want to make it better. Local Pickup or will assist with you having it picked up in Glen Arm, Md 21057. SELLING PRICE $14,750. SEE PICS. ASK QUESTIONS. BEING SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH NO IMPLIED OR WRITTEN WARRANTY

The car is available to be inspected and driven anytime. A well kept 1974 MGB Midget powered by an 1.8L 4cyl engine with an manual shift transmission. This is my daily commuter. Great fun to drive. You are everyone's best friend on the road. Fits in any parking spot!. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke. The car shifts up / down through all gears with no bidding or grinding of the gears (remember to double clutch, like a sports car!). At this time I know of nothing the car needs other that to be driven and enjoyed. Electrical: Needs some work. Redio does not work, turn signals have been acting up. Gauges: All gauges are original "Smith" brand but gas and guge does not work. Interior: Nice presentable driver quality as shown in the photos. Original vinyl dashboard shows split tipical of these cars. Exterior: This is a nice driver quality exterior with very nice. no signs of leaning or sagging. As seen all body panels, hood, trunk, wheel arches, dog legs and do

MG : MGB BASE ROADSTER, 2 DOOR 77 mgb with rover 3.9 l v 8 project car
$8,500
Rockville, Maryland
77 MGB V8 project car This is a 77 MGB roadster that has been converted to a V8 using the Rover 3.9L V8 with a Camaro 5 speed. The engine runs, but the car has a few issues left to sort out. The body shell is in excellent condition, the paint is decent, the Rover engine runs fine. I have no idea what the actual mileage is. The car needs brake work. The clutch slave cylinder is bad. The news on that is that it is concentric with the input shaft, so the engine and trans need to be removed to repair it. The previous owner installed an aftermarket fuse box, and removed the steering lock. A good used steering lock with key is provided. The ignition switch is mounted to the bottom of the dash to the right of the column. I have not checked any of this out at all but when you turn the key the engine starts. Given that they made half a million MGBs, finding parts to fix it is no big deal. It all seems to work as is... The exhaust terminates under the battery boxes with turned down tips. I would extend it with proper tail pipes, but your mileage may vary. You see in the pictures that the lower valance is missing, one is provided.. This is all I know about the car. My customer bought it with the intention of finishing it, but just found another car and wants to sell this. MG : MGB Red 1979 mgb red parts or restoration project car
$920
White Hall, Maryland
1979 MGB - RED - FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION - LOCAL PICKUP ONLY Car DOES NOT RUN. Fuel lines were rotten front to back from sitting unused, tires are rotten, rust on rocker panels a small spot on drivers side fender, top side by hood. Convertible top had a slice in it about 8" long when I got the car, I sealed it but top will need replaced. Car is solid with a lot of potential, was garage kept most of its life and driven only on Sundays by the previous (first) owner. Electrical system looks to have been replaced by a professional and when I hook jumper cables to the battery all the lights work fine. Missing 1 windshield wiper blade and has a scratch in the windshield from someone turning on the wipers without it, but this is fixable (can be buffed out). I have never attempted to turn over the motor since I have had it, had planned to drain all the fluids and get it started this past summer until I discovered the fuel lines were all rotten. Clean title, lots of potential. I can provide more pictures upon request via email and if I can answer any questions for you I'd be happy to. *Mileage reflected on odometer may not be 65k but possibly 165k ...however this car had only 1 previous owner before me and as I was told they were an elderly English couple that only drove the car on the weekends to go on picnics together, so who knows maybe it is only 65k, nonetheless keep in mind the odometer cant show a 6 digit number. I never drove it and received it in the same condition as it is today. The title is clean and in the original owners name signed and ready for transfer, I never titled it in my name so you would legally be the 2nd owner when you do so. The title is signed by the previous owner and dated from 1990, I don't think the old date will be an issue at the MVA here in Maryland but I am no expert so all do diligence required should be done on your end before you bid. **** Paypal for deposit, Paypal or Cash in person for balance. Balance due must be paid & pickup must be completed within 10 days of auctions end. $500 deposit due within 24hrs of auction close.
