I purchased in 2000 so the car is well know to be free of anything that would keep it from selling at this reduced price compared to what its going for on Ebay and other sites. Electronic ignition added, and used unleaded gas. Mid-life crisis ---> SOLVED!
Husband is selling his baby. Had this car for 35 years. He bought it new the last year they made them. You have to see this to appreciate it. Always kept in garage and never drove in winter. Cute shiny little car. Actual milage. Husband retired and has just decided to let someone else enjoy it. This car has been pampered. Had it painted several years ago better than the original. Nothing wrong with this car. Call for more information 5632120819
Purchased in 1978 in San Jose, California from a Naval Officer who used the car for fun and commuting back and forth to Moffett Field Naval Base. It is a head-turning car, fun to drive with a car club or just to take out for a little joyriding. As was the case with some MG-TD owners — the car was restored and modified over the years to suit the taste and imagination of the owner. The original engine compartment plates are in place — with matching VID/Body numbers. The car is not restored to its original condition. However, it is an excellent car for a complete restoration if desired. The engine is in good running condition. The engine is the original 1250cc 4 cylinder with twin SU carburetors that were modified with independent air filters. It has its original 4 speed manual transmission. It comes with new tires and a complete set of side curtains stored in the back compartment. It has its own tow bar (turn and break lights) that easily attaches to the front bumper to allow for transportation to car events or for relocation. It also comes with the MG Workshop Book, tonneau cover for the driving compartment and a full car cover.
Offered for sale is an excellent example of an original split rear bumper 1970 MGB GT non-overdrive. This car was bought new in California, and has only recently been brought out of the state. It is extremely solid and straight, with no signs of any collision damage. The car had a partial re-spray early in its life, and matches the existing original paint well. This GT runs and drives great, and goes down the road smoothly. It was well cared for and maintained regularly. Recent items include: new carpets, new seat covers (due to the originals being cracked from the California sun), calipers, rotors, brake pads, brake hoses. This is a great opportunity to own a fantastic original west coast MGB. Call or email with questions. 712-944-4900.
Offered for sale is a very original 1957 MGA roadster for restoration. The car has been in storage for over 30 years and is fairly solid and straight with no signs of collision damage, but has some rocker/sill corrosion. It does not have a title, and is being sold with a bill of sale only. Call or email with questions. 712-944-4900.
Offered for sale is a very original and solid 1957 MGA roadster 1500. This car has been off the road and sitting in inside storage for over 30 years. It is very original and complete, the engine turns over, and has very little rust, with a rather poor respray done at some point long ago. This A show no signs of collision damage, and is very straight. The original color scheme can still be seen in places, and was originally black with red interior. This is a very desirable and rare color combination. Clean, original examples such as this have become very difficult to find. Call or email with questions. 712-944-4900.
