1975 50th Anniversary MGB roadster with Overdrive Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE $8,200.00 OBO Great Summer 50th Anniversary Roadster in rare Citron color! Clean title car, this 1975 MG is in great running order with MANY upgrades. I purchased it 7 years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed this car. The Golden Anniversary edition displays gold emblems, gold steering wheel emblem, and a gold dash emblem. Here is a link to approx. 75 images: http://s112.photobucket.com/user/rjtab1972/slideshow/?sort=3 I have performed many upgrades to the car as follows: Minilite (knock-offs) wheels in Anthracite Suspension lowering kit for front and rear All new Prothane Polyurethane bushings New power-coated Peco exhaust header New Peco exhaust system Weber down-draft carburetor, manual choke Aluminium MG valve cover Complete new body wiring harness Rebuilt speedometer (shows actual mileage) Stainless steel brake lines Drilled and slotted front brake rotors with ceramic pads High torque gear reduction starter Auxiliary oil cooler with stainless braided lines Refurbished steering wheel New Robbins Crush Grain top with zip-out rear window New trunk carpet Console cupholder accessory Detachable Sony radio with CD and AUX input This MG has always been garaged since I purchased it and driven only on sunny days. I have many receipts for 7 years of ownership. Only issues with the car is the volt gage fluctuates, the temp gage is not operating, 4 way flashers not working and back up lights are not working. All else is in good working order and the MG is a blast to drive, especially on those curvy mountain roads. Solid floors with no rust. The original 1.8L engine runs very well, the transmission is very smooth through all the gears and the overdrive works well. Engine doesn't knock or smoke, and performs as it should. This MGB is a must see to appreciate! Oh yeah, did I say FUN? TERMS OF SALE: VEHICLE BEING SOLD "AS IS, AS SHOWN" DUE TO AGE & CONDITION. TRANSPORTATION OF VEHICLE IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY. DEPOSIT PAYMENT TO BE MADE WITH IN 24 HOURS OF SALE. THANKS ! ! ! !

This car looks and runs great. new top. new brakes. new interior. good paint job but the prep could have been a little better. all metal with new rockers. no bondo. some spot putty. tires are very good. like all MG'S, it drops a little oil on the garage floor but It hasn't needed any in it the past 6 months. I haven't done anything mechanical to it simply because it runs so good. choke is not hooked up but again, it runs so good I didn't reattach it. gauges work. still needs a few small things like cigarette lighter doesn't work. Trunk lock doesn't work but opens and latches. has original jack and British Leyland radio not installed. 1970 was the only year with the split rear bumper. I stripped the black paint off the front grill but it looked so cool, I put it back without repainting it. The new top is very tight but seems to be getting easier to close each time I do it. Just needed to stretch a little. This is being sold as is with no warranties or guarantees. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Come check it out. thanks for looking.
