Original California car and is an early, low serial # MGB with highly desirable pull handle doors. It retains early classic looks while having upgrades for drivability and convenience such as a full synchronized transmission, five main bearing engine, and 12 volt negative ground conversion. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with white piping, the car shows well, drives and stops great! This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice correct vinyl top with 2 piece top bows. Has tonneau bows and 1/2 tonneau cover too. All electrical and mechanical systems work as they should. All gauges work, and car has been thoroughly checked. Paint is very nice but has a few small bubbles near the windshield mounts. This is common for this car and they have been there for 10 years according to previous owner. Barely noticeable. Owner is Pittsburgh MG Club and NAMGAR Club Member. 1973 MG MGB Matching numbers restored car, Teal Blue with Saddle interior. The car runs and drives great! Car has been restored over the last 10 years and is a very high quality. Not a show car, but a solid #-1 car. VIN GHD5UD294586G, manufactured in 8/72. Owner is a Pittsburgh MG Club Member and NAMGAR Club Member. All gauges, electronics work as they should. Finished in Teal Blue (Medium dark blue) with saddle interior the car shows well, and looks as great going down the road as sitting in your garage! This car was treated to a head rebuild by Buffo Motors a few years ago. Look at the you tube video link for a detailed walk around of the MGB https://youtu.be/L1bQl606UjE Previous Owner had the car the last 20 years, it was a California car and is an early,low serial # MGB with highly desirable pull handle doors. It retains early classic looks while having upgrades for drivability and convenience such as a full synchronized transmission, five main bearing engine, and 12 volt negative ground conversion. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with white piping, the car shows well, and looks great and Drives even better! With the performance modifications, the car drives likes it's on rails. This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice custom made stay fast canvas top with clear rear window that looks better than many of the vinyl tops more commonly found. Comes with a tonneau cover too. The paint is a good quality Driver and will hold up at local shows. Paint has a few minor bubbles in the usual places, top fender cowl and lower driver rocker. Again these are very minor and really not noticeable. The interior is very nice, with newer black interior, white piping, black carpets and black door cards. All look great. The gauges all work with an additional tachometer in the center console. The speedometer reads a little high, ~65-70 at 55MPH. All the lights, horn, wipers, fan, and dash lights work as they should. Glass is good, windows roll up and down as they should. Overall I would rate the car a 2-. California Car Cover, Spare Tire, Lug Wrench, and MG Jack included too! This MGB was brought in from California and is an early, low serial # MGB with highly desirable pull handle doors. Finished in British Racing Green and black interior with white piping, the car shows well, and looks as great going down the road as sitting in your garage! This car was treated to a full engine rebuild when it was freshened a few years ago. The soft top is a very nice custom made Caribou canvas top that looks MUCH better than many of the vinyl tops more commonly found. The car runs great, and drives well too! Also, it looks great in British Racing Green. also, includes a fiber glass hardtop in White. Makes a nice accent and adds to the value of the car. Car Number is GHN3L 14698 with a 4 speed synchronized transmission. Engine number is 18V890AEL005008. The engine and transmission are from A 1980. The car is very nice, not a number 1 show car, but presents itself very well. The paint is very good and shines great. There are a few nicks a scratches as you can see in the pictures, but still very nice. Also has a few bubbles on the top cowl, but according to previous owner they have been there for many years and not getting any larger. The engine bay has been detailed and presents well. The under carriage is nice with no rust. The Stainless steel Trophy exhaust sounds great.
