1967 M SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 11967 M.G. midget MK. 3 1098 cc engine duel SU carbs 63,510. Org miles Complete custom restoration on interior in oxblood red rated to 30deg below 0 rated materials. Size 69 nylon bonded thread 2 running yds of material left and ½ spool of thread about 250 yds. New pearl white paint with maroon red overlay same hue as interior color. Engine compartment has double core downdraft radiator, heater core and blower, polished carburetors, and other assorted goodies. Custom items: Side curtains have had plastic windows removed and have had custom tempered glass and machined frames so they can be taken apart and replaced if needed. Custom felt inserts hold glass also. One complete replacement window included. Wheels are wire spoke style quick-change knock off. New top with custom upholstered covered rods. Other assorted part: Transmission, rollbar, repair manuals, and all papers and receipts for parts that were bought for restoration. I’ve owned the car since 1988 and it has been stored in my garage, away from weather and has been covered when not in use. Last time it was licensed for the street was 1990. Most asked question about the car is why are you selling it? I was in a accident and have back injury as a result, and cannot sit with my legs out in front of me. They have to be at a angle like sitting in a chair, so I can’t drive it. I’m sure someone could have a good time with this beautiful car . 1971 MGB/GT. Selling as a project non running, as is.Have started car with start fluid and separate gas tank, it turned and fired, ran for a few minutes. Shifts in all gears clutch is weak.There are four rust areas on body that need to be fixed, shown in pics, The good is floor pans and frame is pretty much rust free. Pans are very solid. Rust spot in usual place behind front wheel well and forward of rear wheel well, rockers are good and solid. History shows it lived in Calif. and then Colorado. Interior seat covers are terrible, and lower back seat missing, door panels are good, lower dash is good, upper is cracked Shown with one tail light lens, it is cracked other missing, have new set Lucas. that come with it and new set window cranks.Wiring seems in good order turn,tail and headlights work, using a jump battery. Car has been converted to single 12V battery.Comes with 9 wheels, some good some not, 4 are chrome Knock off hubs. If any question or detailed photos ask . Please note year change, There was mistake on Paper work and wrong year was listed. 1973 MGB, Project car, has not run in the past two years, engine turns free, was running when parked . Believe it needs fuel pump. When it was stored was running and shifting fine. All glass is good both winds work fine, has new exhaust. Top needs replaced, interior and carpets are OK, no rips or tears in seats. Body has been worked on, I would say 70% done, new rocker installed right side, Floors pans are solid. Radio face plate missing.Car is complete, would not take too much to make a nice car, I just have too many projects at this time, so I all selling at a fair price.. This MG has been sitting for 10 years or so, the previous owner would start it every so often and tinker with it. He told me he did new brakes, new tires, clutch and master cyl, battery, car has a webber with a header, someone removed the air pump from vehicle, so this may or may not go through emissions where you live. I have none of these parts. The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires area matching set with good tread. There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 1979 convertible, but it still has an overall nice look. Please look over our many pictures and give us a call if you have any questions or would like us to do a walk around. We take over 80 pictures of each vehicle. Interior The interior of this B is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show some blems. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. Mechanics This 4 cylinder starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need.
