This 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premiuer edition is in amazing condition! You will not find a better SUV at this price! Meticulously maintained and cared for, it pains us to have to give this car up. It's had an oil change every 3k miles, for the last 100k miles! This car will drive in 12" of snow, without getting stuck. It'll handle rain, sleet, ice, sun, children, and pets. This car will entertain your kids without complaints. What did people do before DVD players? This car will get you places. We've taken it all over the northeast, and it's just been an absolute pleasure to own, and we're sure the next owners will enjoy this car as well. A bit of normal wear and tear, but this car is in outstanding condition given it's age. As part of the sale, I will have it professionally cleaned a cost that I will pick up, so that you're getting a super clean and sparkly SUV. Gas Mileage is surprisingly great! You can get from Long Island to Boston on less than a tank, and to DC on 1 tank. Tires on this car are Firestone Destination tires, and are about half way through their life, with plenty of tread left. The car is not due for breaks or rotors for about another year or so, depending on how much you drive it. The entertainment system is incredible! Pop in a DVD, turn the volume up, and it's a portable home theater system. We're also including 2 headphones that sync with the system, so parents up front don't have to hear that same movie over and over and over. There are auxiliary inputs for your iphone, or if you feel really ambitious, you could hook up a video game system. Side Running boards make getting in and out a cinch for the little ones. While we didn't use it often, there's an easily accessible third row seat, big enough for 2 adults, with plenty of foot room and head room. Another great feature you rarely find anymore, is the driver door unlock panel, great if you want to lock the keys in the car and swim in a lake! Get back to the car, enter the 5 digits, and the doors unlock! Not seen on many new SUV's, this one has a rear window liftgate, which makes packing the car with groceries super easy! All brand-new parts into the truck here is the following, new tires, Tune up with brand new ford spark plugs and wires brand new coil pack, all four brakes pads and rotors are new, new tie rod end, new upper ball joint both fronts end, new radiator, news hoses, new rear stocks and shrugs, new hub bearing, belts and oil change every 3,000 miles. Transmission was just services by Ford. Exterior of the shown sign scratches and scuff. I would rate exterior 7.1 out of 10. Interior show normal wear and rate 8 out of 10. Reason getting rid of it: brought new Truck and I have no use of using this truck. All the truck do is sit in garage. I took to South Carolina last fall with family.
