67 Cougar XR7 390 6.5ltr. S-Code 4speed , Same drive line as 67 Mustang 390 big block, 4 speed , shares some of the 67 Shelby parts Starts Runs and drives very good , ( passenger donut exhaust leak ) needs brakes gone through but they do work I have a short video of the engine running ( got to figure out how to add it ) This Cougar is Dated 7C13 per the door tag Block is 7C2, Heads are 7B23, Intake is 7B24, correct distributor C7OF 12127-H (7B7 date ) , correct 4 speed radiator is the C7ZE Rug-M1 Toploader ( 5 ) w/all correct 67 BB shifter, arms , rods , bellhousing Z bar etc Correct 67 9'' rear , big fill plug on back, 3.00 open ( 1 ) I will get the Marti soon, Vin # is on aprons and I have the Door Tag from the previous owner Big non power front drum brakes , no P/S , no A/C, no vinyl top This Cougar was on the road till 2009 , I have a clear Title also. The turn signals and hazards all work as they should , I installed the front passenger side ( missing in picture ) Headlight doors are not working ( haven't looked into it ) Radio works ( haven't checked the #'s on it ) the radio plate is not correct for 67 or 68 , I will include a correct one. The exterior has all of it's trim pieces , and some are pretty nice, all glass is good The interior has good 67 door panels w/correct map pockets ,and rear panels are nice too XR7 gauges , oil pressure amps and temp gauges all work Upper map lights work , door ajar and seat belt light works Yes it has 68 front seats ( previous owner must have installed ) This Cougar needs metal work Quarter panels( need patches ) , fender aprons have holes , front frame rails need attention ( maybe patches ? ) , cowl leaks but has been covered for some time. Floors have been done previously but they are not perfectly done. So this Big Block 4 spd Cougar is a rare project car , or one that can bring decent money if done right, Biggest engine available in 67 for the Cougar, and has the 4spd. Could also be a donor car for another Cougar Or that Fastback 390 4 spd Mustang that needs the correct drive train One stop shopping for all the needed BB Ford drive-line parts ( $$$ Think of all the time and searching that saves $$$ ) I will assist you or the Transport Co. for shipping or when picking up , you make the arrangements and you are responsible for all shipping, Car can stay here for 30 days till shipped, longer is not a problem, but the car must be paid in full.
