refurbnet Store 1972 Mercury Comet. 7989 original miles!!! Same As The Maverick with Luxury Decor Options. '72 was the first year of the LDO/Custom Option packageReclining luxury bucket seats.Luxury Decor Options.Upscale trim items. The car hasn't been started in years. It was good running when it was put up but will need some work probably to start. The car had a little bit of body work in the front and has a small dent on the rear quarter panel. The body work and dent are pre-1980. The insides of the door are metal and have a little bit of surface rust, you can see this detailed in the picture of the drivers door which is by far the worst. I didn't try to remove this at all. This was my Grandmothers car; she bought it new and only drove it to the grocery store for years. Always garage kept. It is originally from Kansas and never driven in snow (means no salt). It has been sitting un-used for most of it’s 41 years. The body, paint, and interior are still in great shape. With only minor effort or cost this car can be brought back to showroom condition. The original tires still hold air, but need to be replaced since it was not stored on blocks.

Originally conceived as the more sophisticated cousin of the Ford Falcon, this car is inspiring from any angle with cat-eye tail fins in the rear accentuating the scene stealing two-tone paint job and long rear trunk area. Powering this ride is the reliable 144 cubic inch Thrift-Power inline-6 mated to a Cruise-o-Matic 2-speed transmission for smooth and easy weekend rides. Considered a "compact" car in the early 60's, the interior is surprisingly roomy for 6 adults with the included bench seats. There are many new or newer parts on this car, from the full exhaust system, distributor, filters, rear bumper, and all the interior finishing. Brand new Coker white wall tires wrap the original steel wheels with chrome dog-dish hub caps. you are bidding on a very nice and clean 1965 comet caliente convertible automobile that I am selling for a good friend as they are down sizing and would like to sell the pride and joy car that they have owned for over 11 years and have had lots of memories in this very nice and clean old car, since owning the car they have never drove it or had out in the rain in the past 11 years and has always been garage kept, the car was painted sometime prior to them purchasing it, but all the paint and body work as shown in the pictures are all in excellent condition and as far as they know all the car is all original, the car has 81,227 actual miles and I do have clear title in hand!!!! the engine is 200 cu.in. in line 6 cylinder with a 3 speed on the column trasmission, the convertible top is all in excellent condition with no rips or tears as shown and the electric top goes up and down very easily with no problems or issues at all, the interior is all in excellent condition as shown and is all original, all tires are in great condition, all brakes are good, battery is good, all the lights work, the am radio works, the heater works, so there absolutely no kown issues with the car at all, this will make someone an excellent car for the money and you can cruise around all day long and not have to worry about no issues!!!!! again the only reason for selling this nice and clean car is the couple are down sizing and do not have the room to keep their pride joy car anymore, the winning buyer is responsible for pick up of car or I can help arrange shipping if needed, this car is located in lima ohio and again I do have clear title in hand!!! Well back again for sale is my 1967 mercury caliente as you can see from the pictures it is a beauty what dont see these at your local cruise spots because there is not alot of these running around this is a beautiful example of a hard to find car that is in this shape in the last 300 miles this car has had the following done -complete rebuild of a 1969 302 30 over with eagle rods and speed pro hyper pistons a complete comp cams kit from retainers to timing set very mild this is a driver and did not want to take away from this it has a c-4 auto that shifts nicely like it should and a 8 inch rear with 2.79 stock gears the underside of the car was protected by Tenn. clay and is rust and rot free the paint is a very close duplicate of the original color same thing for the int. the carpet shows some wear but is very nice i have replaced the entire front suspension and when it went for alignment the shop tech was amazed at how solid it was and made a point to tell me that in his opinion it has never been hit new shocks new intake a weiand stealth a new holley street avenger 570 cfm elec choke new exhaust manifolds with a high temp coating and a custom dual 2.5 inch exhaust and dynomax super turbo mufflers this car runs drives and sounds awesome it also has a new radiator new power steering pump and a complete new power steering set up it has 15 inch weld pro stars and new tires it is all ready to go just needs a new owner one more little thing the center cap for the steering wheel keeps popping off but is a very minor issue all lights work even the cigar lighter the winner of this car will be responsible for pick up a 200.00 dollar NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required with in 24 hours of the sale balance due at pick up no checks prefer cash

Originally a 289 4 speed bucket seat console car, ember glow with white interior, vinyl top car, no motor, trans, original bucket seats or console or 4 speed hump. The clutch pedals, z bar and rod are there. It has a good front clip, grill, trunk lid and straight front bumper,rear bumper has some rust, the frame is rusted at the rear spring shackles, rear quarters are very rusty, it has a nice instrument cluster, glass and some trim. This would be a good parts car! it would take a lot to restore, see pics, it will come with factory rims and tires that hold air, I can assist loading, 319-591-0594

1964 Mercury Comet Caliemte. 302 Ford with Edelbrock accessories. Runs and drives very strong. This is a very solid rust free Comet. The floor pans and entire under carriage is solid.
