Description: This is my 1966 Mercury Monterey. It has the original low miles 390 it came with. C6 Trans. The car has around $36,000 original miles. It has has 1 repaint years ago before I got it. Paint shines and looks decent but does have a few imperfections, nicks, or scratches. The interior is also original. The front seat has a few smaller tears starting to show so i put a seat cover over it for now. Air is not working at this time. The body of this car seems really solid. I do not see any rust holes anywhere. There are some places or surface rust under the car but seems very solid. The trunk floor also is really solid. The car does not leak when it rains like most old cars. Never wet carpet or anything like that. The car has set for years in a carport and then a buddy of mine bought it and it set in his garage. I bought the car and cleaned it up a little to make a good driver out of it. I added some helper springs to the rear to raise it up a bit. Changed the oil, tuned the engine added a new 750 Holley, Edelbrock Intake, New Fuel Pump, cleaned the gas tank and added a new sending unit. Also had new dual exhaust with Flowmasters added a couple months ago. Has 4 new Cooper Cobra tires and American racing wheels. The car is a great driver. Goes straight down the road. No major issues. The car will need a few things to be nicer but over all its a solid driver. If you have any questions please message me. I will accept a bank wire or a Cashier check but the car sits until cleared.
