For sale is a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The car actually belongs to my nephew, and we have a clear Arizona title in his name. However, I gave him the money to buy it 6 months ago so he will give me the money when we sell it. If the car does not sell before he goes back to school in Arizona, he will sign the title over to me so I can sell it. As for the car itself - It is an Arizona car so it has absolutely NO rust issues. I just washed it and didn't even see any dings. The paint is mostly good, has clear coat peeling on the rear bumper cover and an area on the deck lid (trunk) about the size of a baseball that appears to be starting to fade. Other than that the paint and body are in great condition. Somebody did install the Landau top which has a few small tears in it, and one trim piece missing. Mechanically it starts, runs and drives as you expect from a full sized car from 2000. It has 141,xxx miles , motor runs well, transmission shifts well in all gears. The front tires are almost new, rears will need replaced soon, but should pass inspection. Everything works , A/C blows cool but not ice cold. Front seat is nice, rear seat has two holes on the passenger side (pictured). Wheels are off a Ford Explorer. It had aftermarket wheels when he bought, but he curbed it and tore up two of the wheels and tires. I have driven it as it sits, and there are no vibrations at any speed. It tracks perfectly straight, brakes in a straight line as well. NADA shows clean retail as 3000, trade in value 1900. I think it is worth every bit of that Any questions, call Jeff 1-573-837-8985 . Looking for a big & unique Convertible? It doesn't get much better than this 1964 Mercury Montery in Bittersweet with a 390 and factory 4 speed. I talked to the previous owner and the widow of the owner before that. Both said they hardly ever drove the car and kept it in the garage. There have only been 2 owners from the 70s until 2015. The odometer says 47k and I think that is actual miles. I have a receipt from 1980 that shows the mileage at 42,186. The previous owner had the car repainted. Before that it still wore its factory original finish. When the car was repainted all of the jambs were left alone. The trunk and all of the door jamb areas are still factory paint. The front seat was redone and the carpet replaced. All other interior is original and unrestored. The car runs and drives nice. All interior lights, gauges and switches work. Heater works good on all speeds and puts out nice heat. The power top goes up and down like it should. There are no rips or tears in the material and the clear plastic back window is nice. All windows roll up and down very smoothly. The doors open and close like you would expect a 47k mile car to. When driving the feels very solid and rattle free. All exterior lights and signals work except the back up lamps. The car is an amazing survivor. I put the 17 X 8 Cragars on it. The original wheel covers are in the trunk. If you prefer the stock look I will buy a brand new set of 4 whitewalls and install them and keep the Cragers. Overall this is an amazingly well cared for and original car. as ive said earlier it does have a few problems but small problems. nothing major. has normal scratches on it. few tiny dings here and there. back windshield wiper doesn't work. driver side dome light is out. front passenger side window has trouble rolling down but it does roll down every time, just takes a bit longer than normal. probably a bit off track. driver side seat is ripped on side. 1999 mercury mountaineer. it has all wheel drive all the time. 179,600 miles on it. it is my daily driver so miles will go up. clean/clear title. has a 5.0l engine. has about $500 in new parts on it. most of everything under the hood has been replaced except engine, transmission. new hoses.. new radiator cap, new gaskets, new u joints, new front and rear brakes mid grades, new front and rear rotors, hid headlights, new hood lifts, custom hood scoop, custom skull valve caps on all 4 tires, 42 inch orion light bar on top, tinted tail lights, custom green front dome lights, new dash lights, new radio, new radiator, new spark plugs, custom rain-x latitude windshield wiper blades on front, tinted back windows, custom blind spots on mirrors, overhead console that shows outside temperature and direction of travel, leather seats, dual front power seats, chrome wheels, bunch of good stuff. ive fixed it up from a junker to pretty much brand new. buyer is responsible for pickup. i do not ship vehicles. heres a link to a video i done for a demonstration on how well it performs offroad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceuOPchj8yA
