PARTS / REPAIR ONLY. This 1991 Mercury Capri includes the hard top and many new parts (all available service receipts will be provided). In the late summer of 2016 it was diagnosed with terminal rot in the driver's side A pillar, compromising the integrity of the unibody, and we've finally given up on it. The terminal issue was discovered as we were trying to sort out a puzzling mystery with the power steering, which is way too heavy on on side. We bought this car in early 2009 from a friend who was not the original owner and it has had extensive work. The steering rack and pump are new, along with many, many more parts, including but not limited to: Transmission, Driver's Side Door, Starter, Alternator, Exhaust from the manifold back including Catalytic Convertor, Rear Tires, Vinyl Convertible Top, Windshield, Front Bumper, Left Headlight Bucket and Lifting Assembly, Rear Trailing Arms, Radiator, Rear Brake Lines, All Brake Shoes and Rotors, All Wheel Bearings and Struts, Inner and Outer Tie Rods, Clock Spring, Air Bag Sensors, all belts and hoses, many small interior parts, the removable Trunk Floor and many, many more. The body was painted (by Maaco, so there's overspray everywhere) and every panel had rust removed or repaired. A small rust patch on the underside of the frame, rust on the radiator mount, and rust holes at the backs of both front wheel wells were all professionally repaired. Shipping or pickup will be solely the responsibility or the purchaser, and is not included in the sale price.

Selling my 68 Cougar XR7. It has been completely restored and came from California this spring. It is an original 390 car with a sunroof. One of 696. The motor and transmission were completely rebuilt when it was restored. The 390 has been upgraded to a 4 barrel carb. Also installed were, Vintage Air AC, cruise control, hidden stereo with new rear speakers, sub woofer and remote. The trunk is also a custom feature. The restoration was completed in 2014 and there has been less than 2K miles put on it since then. It is an awesome car, but I have moved on to another one. It runs and drives awesome and everything works as it should. I had it appraised in March for 32K and I'm willing to sell it for 28K. You deserve this car or give to your wife for Christmas. New air plenum box for heater . Tail light sequentials work flawless with new replacement solid state system. This car is originally from Texas was last registered in 1993 in N.H. .. No title , be sure to check with your local laws on cars needing title.. Have owners registration and bill of sale signed by the owner. selling car for a friend . This car needs very little to register. Tires are good, all lights work, wipers and heat work, hideaway headlights do work but the air canister and vacumn lines were removed (have all parts ). Car has some flaking of paint and surface rust on hood and trunk lid from repaint at one point. This car has some original paint .. Not a bondo bucket but has some on hood and trunk.. Has small hole around rear window (typical spot they rust) also trunk lid has hole can be repaired. Needs vinyl top. Not rusted underneath . Frame is good, trunk in good condition, torque boxes are solid , floors have small rust holes typical for these cars from debri blocking cowl vent. ..Car needs interior work , seats ripped, cushions need replacement , no headliner, no carpet, door panels in good condition for the age. Smoke-Free vehicle. I have driven this car to work every day for the last seven years. Has an active MA inspection sticker, expires last day of January, 2016. As of tomorrow, I will be driving a different vehicle, so I'm making this one available. It has been very reliable for me, but I am advised by my mechanic, who has done all maintenance work on this vehicle since I bought it in 2008 (I am the second owner of the vehicle), to sell AS IS FOR PARTS. The computer system in this vehicle has been VERY tempermental. There has been many occasions over the years where the lights stay on, even when the vehicle isn't running-therefore, I have disabled many of the lights on the inside of the vehicle, as many times the battery has drained, and I've needed to jump-start it. The locks and key fob have also been tempermental-sometimes the alarm goes off for no apparent reason. There is also a significant rust spot on the right back wheel well (see photos). The vehicle will need new tires for the winter. Ball joints were recently replaced. Oil change done every 3000-5000 miles. My mechanic tells me that the engine is strong. Original owners manual is still in the glove compartment. This will be a pickup item ONLY.
