**(Thank your for your interest/Please read)**[Introduction]Arguably one the most reliable vehicles on the road today, the Mercury Grand Marquis sedan competes with reliable manufacturer vehicles such as the Mercedes Benz 300D (Diesel), Subaru Forester, and the Honda Accord, just to name a few. During the peak of the American automotive industry, the Mercury Grand Marquis represented the spirit of America and our desire to get on the open road and cruise. Noted for its cavernous interior space volume (6 passenger capacity), reliable 4.6L V8 Ford Engine, and incredibly safe body on frame construction. At a time when the V8 engine defined the American automobile industry, the Taxi, Limousine, and Law Enforcement agencies quickly realized the long term durability of these vehicles and it's no surprise to see them in use even today.[Condition]The vehicle being sold is in considerably great shape. It is mechanically sound as one would expect from a Mercury Grand Marquis. Regardless, there are minor cosmetic blemishes due to the aging of the clearcoat and it can be seen in the detail photos. The tires are Cooper CS4 Touring radials with considerable tread left. They were recently rotated, inspected, and the oil and filter replaced. All (8) spark plugs were replaced and a few coil packs (a minor issue w/these engines). I recently also replaced the wiper blades. No oil leaks, rough idling, suspension issues, or electrical problems. This is truly a gas and go sedan, it is by far one of the most reliable cars and requires little maintenance. [Purpose]I don't have to sell this vehicle. Naturally, most buyers would question what's wrong with the vehicle. I actually purchased a Lincoln Towncar, the luxury version of the Mercury Grand Marquis, so it's not necessary to have (2) vehicles now. However, these two models share many parts that are interchangeable and it would be nice to keep it if something went wrong, but I'm letting it go. I know what the vehicle is worth and simply won't entertain outlandish offers. Please make sure if you inquire about the vehicle that you are valuing your time. As an added bonus, especially since the winter is right around the corner; I am including a full set of tires (moderately driven). I have only owned the vehicle for about 1.5 years and drove it less than 12,000 miles in this time. It is also free and clear on any rust or corrosion on the entire body of the car.[Requirements]- Payment is required in full (cash transaction); **(no checks/money orders/cashiers check)**- Inquiries will be answered through email (Please type in Subject: 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis CL)- Vehicle Inspection/Road Test (setup an appointment)**Thank you again for your interest**
