1994 Mercedes-Benz SL500 in Great Condition 2nd Owner - California Car - No Rust at all Up for sale is our beloved Mercedes Benz SL500 with 132k miles. My dad bought this car a little over a year ago as a weekend driver, but never found the time to take the car cover off and drive it. We then decided to keep it as a family owned weekend car between the two of us and again, didn't get much use out of it, besides having a beautiful paper weight. When we bought the car it had 131,746 miles and now has 132,384 miles. The motor is very powerful and smooth with no leaks at all. The transmission shifts perfectly and also has no leaks or issues. The suspension is also perfect. The factory stereo has a crisp clear sound, and the antenna works as it should. The AC is ice cold. The hard top removal and soft top operation work smoothly. Tires are like brand new. Recently passed CA smog and is currently registered. Nice running and driving car . Has been in storage for many years and got out for summer . Should have new tires do to sitting so long. Have both tops and hard top storage stand . Car is in overall good condition . Had gauge cluster rebuilt and when mechanic installed he put a crack in corner of lens . Has aftermarket radio installed was a nice job and have stock radio . Top and interior are in good condition and so is body. Just put a nice set of Michelin tires on. Its ready for summer fun.

I bought this car 9 years ago from a horse ranch owner and as far as I know I am the second owner.No time to enjoy that marvelous and performing car. Very good looking canadian car with 187,000 km. Nice leather interior,no tears. It's got all the SL stuff: memory& heated seats and mirrors,AM-FM cassette original radio,automatic padded rollbar, both tops,traction control,etc., I put only 10,000 km. (6,000 miles) on it and only 60 miles in each of the last 3 years! New original Behr radiator,new brakes,new battery,etc. Ready to go: oil change made! Good original soft top; I installed the hard top on once after I bought the car and it's still hooked to the ceiling of my garage! The car is located only 15 miles from New-York state border and 35 miles to Ontario border. Delivery and payment will have to be discussed with eventual buyer. 1992 Mercedes Benz 500 SL 85,700 miles! $9,900 For Sale is a rare and well-kept 1992 Mercedes Benz 500SL. Engine: 5.0L V8 MPI. Made in Germany. The owner would like to sell it to someone who will take good care of it. White with a Black soft top roof. White Hard top roof available. Grey leather interior. Condition average to above average. Car was inspected, with 4 New tires & brake alignment. Clear title, private seller. No known accidents. All features and electrical system is in perfect working condition, as is the A/C and convertible top. There are fewer and fewer of these surviving in such great condition. This 1992 500SL is a head-turner and attention getter. It is considered to be a future collectable and classic. This was the top of the line Benz at the time, and the original MSRP reflects that. The engine screams power and still runs like a dream. Always well kept and maintained without sparing an expense. The Bumper paint has faded a bit after 22 years but could be corrected easily. The Benz was beautifully hand made and fitted, and they certainly are always parked at the front of the valet lines here in Palm Beach. The Mercedes-Benz R129 SL-Class grand tourers were produced from 1989 through 2002. The R129 replaced the R107 SL-Class in 1989. The R107's rather dated rear diagonal swing axle gave way to a modern multi-link axle. The number of standard features was high, with electric action for the windows, mirrors, seats and convertible top. This 77k mile California car starts; runs and drives beautifully. It was previously a Mercedes-Benz Certified car and is in tip-top mechanical shape. Excellent handling, runs and shifts great and very comfortable. The interior is in immaculate condition with nice leather, door panels, rugs, headliner, dash and wood. The car seals up tight and has excellent heater and ice cold air. There is some pixilation on the climate temperture panel but it does not affect the operation. The trunk is super tidy and includes spare tire, CD Changer, Windscreen and enclosure as well as the factory first aid kit and jack. Engine compartment is also nice, clean and detailed with no signs of damage. Car runs smoothly and starts at the first turn of the key. Exhaust is quiet and engine burns clean. The body has imperfections; a small ding in the left rear wheel arch area and on hood. Typical of this vintage of Mercedes, there are some thin clearcoat areas, please see photos.
