For sale is a 2002 Mercedes-Benz S500. I purchased the car as it is and drove it for 60 miles until the transmission went into limp mode. The suspension has been changed and it sits higher than normal. (I believe the air ride suspension was removed, the car gives an error message for "airmatic suspension". The car was able to drive at first, but soon the transmission went into limp mode (won't shift past first gear). I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Car looks pretty clean overall, especially for its age. The rear right door is pretty faded. Has some other imperfections. Please see the pictures. Clean GA title. Sold AS-IS. Faded Trunk ^

this is a beautiful s500, they don't make these big body cars anymore......comes with the 20" brabus staggerd wheels, front passenger tire needs to be replace....the a/c blows but i think it needs a charge.....it's a stunning beautiful car....

This S500 has been Mercedes serviced, garaged and babied and has spent much of it's time here in Florida out of the harsh winters of the north and is shows, there is no rust and even the underside is nice and clean. The Carfax report shows lot's of services done at the Mercedes dealership as well. Carfax did show a minor accident to the rear some years ago, the tail light was replaced and there was no paint damage. What a beautiful car in person as well as the pictures. The silver Mercedes paint shines like new with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. The factory aluminum wheels look new and the tires are mathing Michelin's for a smooth and quiet ride. The two rear's are in just fair shape. The interior is spotless with no stains, rips or odors and this is a non-smoker's car and fresh as new inside. It is amazing how nice it truly is inside, obviously well cared for and garaged. All the power options work just as they should including the ice cold air conditioning, power sunroof, navigation system and 6-Cd stereo that sounds wonderful and there are no service lights on. The leather seats are nice and soft and they are heated and there is lots of leg and headroom both front and rear. The trunk too is spotless and the spare is new and never used and the tool kit is there as well. What a pleasure to drive, so smooth and quiet. The V-8 runs smooth as new and should with only 69k well serviced miles. The brakes, transmission and suspension are all smooth with no shakes or rattles, just as you would expect from a car like this. Look it over good and I am certain you will love it once you see and take it for a spin around the block. It's a whole lot of Mercedes for the money and a real baby doll! Selling AS-IS Besides what's listed below, the car runs just fine, starts up and rides nice (it's not smooth due to the control arm).Nice interior, includes all Mercedes floor mats & spare tire w/tools and fuses in trunk. Working condition:A/CRadioDashTrunk (compressor works)Windows on the passenger side are a little temperamental but they roll down. Here's what I KNOW is wrong with the vehicle:Cosmetic:Driver/Passenger mirrors need to be replaced, trunk needs new weather strip (leaks when it rains), glove box needs to be fixed also could use a paint job, not many spots but there is some visible rust. Necessary:Control ArmsShocks-Hood (wont open without assistance, 2 man team at auto shop)Shocks-Doors (car should have air compressor to close)Shocks-Front and rear replacement (rear especially, fronts aren't too bad)Overdue for Service-Unsure which one, local Mercedes dealership has no history on this vehiclePassenger and possible driver side control armsOil leaking-drained 3 quarts in 2 months, unsure where leak is an engine cleaning could determine where it may be. This is a very Clean car as you can see in the pictures .
