REASON FOR REBUILT TITLE Now for the history of this car, we bought this car from Insurance Company with damage to the front of the car which didn’t impact the engine. We replaced the Hood, Bumper, Grille, both fenders, and driver headlight. The engine and transmission were never damaged. All the damaged components were replaced with original Mercedes parts with factory specifications. Everything was repaired professionally with experienced body men and painters who have worked with high end cars like Maserati, Mercedes, BMW, etc. All damaged parts were replaced with original factory parts. Repairs were done with professional painters and body man with extensive experience in foreign cars. This car came out like it never had any damage; repairs done to this car were to factory specifications, so you will not be able to tell if an accident had occurred. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it.
