These “G-Wagens” are Mercedes premier on or off road vehicles. Although recent G-Wagens have been available in the US Market, the early cars like this were not imported and the very best examples, like this car, are very usable and collectible, especially in the rare models like this Cabriolet. The unique drivetrain features three fully locking differentials to provide off-road capabilities that are virtually unlimited. Now that these cars are over 25 years old, the best examples are being sourced from Europe and brought to the US where they are now legal. This extremely rare short-wheelbase Cabriolet is powered by Mercedes 5-cylinder 2.5L inter-cooled Turbo-Diesel with 5-speed manual gearbox. It has been restored an upgraded in Europe and recently imported. It has power steering, power brakes, power windows and has been upgraded with later bumpers and grill, halogen lights, external mirrors, and flared wheel arches. The top is in excellent condition and the plaid cloth interior is very Euro. The car is featured in Grey with Blue/Grey interior.
