2005 and 2006 E55 wagons are among the rarest AMG models with only 193 imported in two years by special order only. Hand built supercharged V8 with 469hp and 516tq, 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, quarter mile in 12.5 seconds with seating for seven. This car runs and drives excellent, within the past year I spent over $15k in maintenance/repairs which include spark plugs, wires, Akebono brake pads, Zimmerman brake rotors, brake sensors, brake fluid flush, oil service, carbon cabin filter, supercharger oil change/service, front end rebuild with struts, control arms, and steering knuckle, transmission conductor plate with solenoid connector, trans filter, fluid/service, new front Michelins with alignment/index, replace valve cover gaskets which showed a very clean engine with no build up(pictures available), radiator replacement, coolant hoses, belts, pulley, coolant flush/change, ignition switch, starter, crankshaft position sensor, front and rear battery, new intercooler, fuel tank/sending unit/pump were replaced under warranty. The E55 front bumper cover/grill has been replaced as the original was split/cracked at the bottom from a parking lot curb from the previous owner. The E63 model is more attractive, so it gave me a good excuse to replace it. E63 wheels have been refinished to new condition, paint is original except for the replaced front bumper cover, interior is in great shape with no leather damage, car has 140k miles but looks and drives like 40k. Has the optional 3rd row seat for a total of 7 seats. The secondary cats and resonator have been professionally replaced with an X pipe for a little more sound, but car is still very quiet. Car still retains the stock primary catalytic converters and stock mufflers. Car starts, runs, and drives as it should, tracks down the road straight and without noise or vibration, steering is tight and precise, brakes are excellent as they are nearly new stopping evenly and straight, tires are Michellins and over 80%, paint is excellent and well maintained, very few minor paint flaws/scratches, car has been garage kept and is very nice. A/C blows cold, windows and switches work, stock Harman Kardon stereo sounds great. As with any used vehicle this car is not perfect. There is a automatic door unlock system that when you touch the door handles the doors are supposed to unlock. This system does not work, and I didn't bother getting it fixed. Also, this car has the optional keyless start button on the shifter, but works occassionally. Again, didn't bother getting it fixed. The third row seat is difficult to put up or down being tight from lack of use. There is also what looks like a bleach stain on the carpet next to the third row seat. These items are not necessary in the use of the car as the key buttons open the doors and start the car. Oh, I also have a new key for the car. I bought this car off EBAY 04/14 from a Chicago high end dealer that forgot to mention the above items were not working/in need of repair. It is a different car now getting the attention it deserved. Please only serious inquiries about this car, no low offers will be acknowledged as I don't need to sell the car. Not interested in hearing about "book" value as it means nothing for these cars.
