Taxes and Fees: -All sales are subject to a $295 Documentary Fee other than state taxes and registration. There are no hidden fees. These are all you pay and you can drive your car home!! Auto Express of South Florida LLC is licensed in the State of Florida and is responsible for collecting applicable sales taxes related to vehicle sales. Please note: Sales Tax for Florida Residents: 6% for the state plus any applicable county discretionary tax. Out-of-state (non-Florida resident) shipping your vehicle to your state: We retain a notarized document as evidence of your shipping and do not collect sales tax. You are responsible for paying your taxes, title and registration fees when you register the vehicle in your home state. Out-of-state (non-Florida resident) taking delivery in Florida: If you take delivery of your vehicle here in Florida and we issue you a temporary tag, and your state has a Reciprocal Agreement with Florida, then we must collect your state’s applicable Sales Tax up to a maximum of the Florida rate of 6%. Any taxes over that amount you will pay when you register the vehicle in your state. If your rate is less than 6% then the lower rate will be collected. You will not be double-taxed. We will provide you a notarized document as to the amounts collected which you may present to your motor vehicle department as evidence of sales tax already paid. Any balance of tax due and related title and registration fees are the buyer’s responsibility. There are a few of the states which currently do not allow credit Arkanas, Mississippi, and West Virginia. To avoid paying tax to FL, and AR, WV, or MS we should make the delivery to you out-of-state by a transporter. We must retain the shipping Bill of Lading as evidence of the out-of-state delivery. Exporting: If you are purchasing a vehicle which will be exported overseas we can only release the vehicle to you via a transporter / shipper as the vehicle may not be operated on Florida roads with a temporary tag unless sales tax has been collected. We request a copy of the export bill of lading or dock receipt for our records and state audit purposes so that we are not held responsible for taxes. Shipping: -Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. We will assist in the arrangement of shipping, if requested. We recommend all shipping is done through our provided shipper (American Auto Transporters 1-800-800-2580 www.shipcar.com.) Legal: -All obligations pursuant to this contract shall be performable in Fort Myers, Florida. The vehicle shall be delivered in Fort Myers, Florida. All obligations of purchaser to pay shall be payable in Fort Myers, Florida in Lee County as well. -It is agreed by all parties in relation to any transaction involving this vehicle that the proper venue for any legal proceedings shall be in Lee County, Florida. Any vehicle sold 10 years or older may have exempt mileage listed on the title because of it's age. We run a Carfax Vehicle History Report to verify mileage is accurate on the odometer and eBay offers Auto Check in all listings. If this of concern to you please call us for specific information on this vehicle. Vehicle Condition: Consequently, the car may have a few more miles on it than the auction mileage. Any mileage differences will be of an immaterial nature (under 500 miles). Please call or email if you are concerned about specific mileage. -Please understand that the vehicles are Pre-Owned vehicles and at times, the vehicles may come without accessories such as extra keys, cod magazines, navigation discs, floor mats and owner's manuals. Please call for the exact accessories included for the vehicle. -As any used vehicle, minor wear may appear under close scrutiny; this includes small sand and/or rock chips and/or scratches. We believe that a picture is worth a thousand words. Therefore we try to show the car from every possible angle. Please, look at the pictures and email us any concerns prior to placing a bid. If buyer does not elect to purchase an onsite mechanical inspection prior to purchasing the vehicle they will be liable for any mechanical faults after vehicle is purchased. We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale, titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell. If having title on hand is of crucial to the sale for to you, please call to verify its status prior to contracting for sale. Some vehicles may not have titles ready at time of sale and may take an additional 7-10 days Seller reserves the right to end the auction early without any liability to the seller. -All Bidders with a feedback score of less than 10 will be blocked if they bid on a vehicle without contacting us first. Thanks Terms of Sale The winning bidder must respond within 24 hours after the auction with a $500.00 USD nonrefundable deposit required via pay pal, wire transfer or certified funds (cashier's check) to start transaction. All vehicles must be paid in full within this 7 day period. All financing approvals, inspections, and arrangements must be completed prior to purchasing the vehicle. Deposits will not be refunded if the buyer can not obtain financing or breaks these terms of sale.
