Only 3802 Mercedes 450 Slc's were produced in 1976 .Its was purchased by a woman in Michigan in 1976 then the car spent the rest of its life in Seattle Washington. The color is Milan Brown metallic and its Stunning as when it was new. The paint is all original and was Metered with a paint meter showing no prior paint work anywhere only a minor stone chip that was touched up but nothing to mention. The natural tan interior is stunning as well, It still smells like a new car when you open the door. The seats have zero wear and the leather is very soft a supple. The headliner is pristine as is the dash and console. Carpets are like new and it has original Mercedes floor mats. Inside you will find all the electronics to work perfectly . The climate control switches from hot heat to Ice cold Ac. All the power windows work , as does the power sunroof and also the cruise. There was a new alpine radio installed with Mb quart speakers. It sounds great. I do have the original Becker Europa am/fm cassette radio and speakers which are in a box in the trunk. Mechanically She is a gem as well. It fires right up and has a very smooth idle.The car drives excellent and the transmission shifts very smooth as well. Zero leaks anywhere and the engine compartment still looks like it did in 76. The car has 4 new michelin tires that are on new updated alloy wheels I have the original ones as well. New brakes, all the fluids were just changed and the entire car was gone through from front to back. I took a picture of the undercarriage and you can see its spotless as well. The 450 slc was a true sports coupe. It was 13.9 inches longer then the Sl and it has room in the back seat for 2 adults . It truly is an amazing sports car that is rising fast in value. The car has louver windows built into the rear glass. Most of the cars have the paint flaking and peeling inside the glass. These are still perfect as when it was new. This car was a garage queen . It was also a show car for many years. It took first place in the Mercedes event in pebble beach. So if your looking for a Original low mileage car that is pristine in every way then this is the one to buy. They dont come around very often and again with only 31,739 cars produced from 1972 to 1980. I can assure you there is not many Original untouched cars still out there with only 23 k miles. The drivers side back of the seat has lost its foam and is a little loose . The leather is perfect and has no wear just needs to have a new pad installed which is a easy fix. I just wanted to point it out. Its 36 years old and all original So i wanted to point out any imperfections. ** take a look at the unleaded fuel only sticker still on car. Its still like new. as is the cluster inside the car. Its black and has no discoloration and the needles are still bright. This is a true gem.. *** The car comes with clear Washington title . All the books and stamped service . Original brochure from 1976 showing the entire line of cars. Amazing to have that. 2 keys , 4 original rims with matching hub caps. 1980 Mercedes benz 450 Slc coupe. The last year of the models production and very collectible.The car was built to be a true coupe being 13.9 inches longer then the 450 sl. The rear seats are actually large enough to fit an adult comfortably .This is a 2 owner car that was always garaged and well taken care of. It has only 41,306 Original miles and its condition is stunning. The champagne gold paint is beautiful and very shiny with nearly zero imperfections only a few stone chips that were touched up. The brown leather interior is beautiful as well. The seats are firm and the leather is soft and supple showing nearly zero wear. The carpets ,headliner wood and dash are all in excellent condition.Inside the car you will find all the electronics to work properly. The AC is ice cold and the heat is hot.All the power windows work perfect as does the extra large sunroof. The car has the Original becker radio with cassette and it works as well as the power antenna. Mechanically the car is a Gem, The engine is bone dry and has zero leaks. It starts right up and idles very smooth. The car drives so amazing with no shakes or noises and has a lot of power. The transmission shifts smooth as well. The car was just serviced with new Original exhaust , new brakes, new tires, new coolant flush, fresh oil change and filters... The Louvar windows are perfect and have no flaky paint like most of them have. Inside the trunk you will find the Original spare tire and tools .
