Looking for a restoration project? Then this 300CD is right up your alley. Car runs but vac. system needs repair. Has the typical Mercedes diesel problem of motor running after it is shut down with the key because the central door locking system is inoperable. Body is in good shape. Minor surface rust starting in each rear wheel well and there is a small rust bubble on the right fender and under the right headlight. Rockers are not rotted out. Jack points are in great shape. Floor panels are in great shape. Rear windscreen seal is shot and is leaking some water into the trunk. Paint is mostly original and shines but there are lots of dings and scratches. Drivers door is dented, rusted at the underside and is hard to close. Owners manuals, first aid kit and tool kit are missing. Has original Becker radio. Passenger side door window inoperable as is the drivers side rear window. Center console wood needs restoration. Missing 1 window switch. Passenger side rear window works but will need a new window regulator. Automatic antenna inoperable. Rear dome light inoperable. Previous owner removed the AC condenser and Aux fan. Automatic climate control system inoperable, only setting that works is defrost. Two support bars near Aux fan are missing. Replaced the battery this month as well as the hazard light switch/relay. Also replaced the windshield wipers and sprayer nozzles. Reverse lights do not work. New battery has already died. Not sure why. Car will currently not turn over. Obviously, with a charged battery the car will start and run. Car will need to be towed from its current location. Because the body is in such great shape, it is worthy of a restoration. Only 7500 300CD non turbos were produced and this is the 703 model to come off the assembly line. I had every intention of restoring this vehicle but I'm moving and have no time to deal with a restoration project. I need the car gone! Drop me an email if you have any questions.
