This car was a donation and after my purchase DMV said that because I don't hold dealers license it had to be a salvage title but this vehicle has never been in any major accidents. Hello and thank you for your interest in this Mercedes 240D. This is a 1 owner car bought in Sindelfingen Germany new in 1979. Drove through Germany and Austria including the Alps. (see original Alps window sticker) Always garaged since purchased. There is no rust. Interior is in excellent condition and everything works, Factory A/C - Cruise control - Dash Clock - and all lights work. The pictures do a lot of the talking, so feel free to ask me anything through email. New Motor and Trans was purchased at 234,000 miles and was ordered from Sangera Autohaus in Bakersfield for $6580. ( have receipts, too many to mention here ) Maintainence done on a regular schedule, all oil and services done by authorized Mercedes Benz dealers and always replaced with OEM parts. If your looking for the perfect daily driver that gets 35mpg + this is the car. If your motivated to run Bio-Diesel, or Vegetable Oil, or even used motor oil, this is the car that can be modified to do it! Starts right up, no smog needed even in California!
