So, what I have here is a 1987 Mercedes diesel(gets very good MPG) sedan. It is a rare long-base model, too. The mileage is around 224k(I drive it, so it may change a little bit from the mileage written above), which is considered low for this model. And if you do a blow by test, it has none blow by whatsoever, what means that the engine is still as strong as it was years ago. It has been one owner car until I bought it this summer. I have clear carfax for it, too! It is a former AZ car, so you will not find ANY rust on it. I was amazed when I took it to a workshop and couldn't find any signs of rust on the underside of the car, even mechanic couldn't believe that. Also, you can't see it in the pictures, but I also got a hitch for it, I was planning to use it for a bike rack or maybe tow a motorcycle, but only did it once towing a small utility trailer with a lawn mower for my dad over a distance of maybe 50 miles.I've invested a lot of money in this car, here is a list of some recent maintenance. Just see HOW much was done to the car and check the cost(I have all the receipts). And I even have lots of other receipts since new, owners manual, original dealership paperwork, etc.I must also mention that the previous owner was a very rich guy and all the maintenance records I have, indicate, that he only serviced it at a Mercedes-Benz dealership! That was really expensive, but worth much more than some cheap workshop. On the down side, it does have a couple of minor scratches on the bumper and the hood has a couple of small dents, but you can barely see those. The AC was tested with an AC dye and there were a couple of leaks, so the old r-12 was sucked out of the car. I did get the gasket that needed to be replaced, but never got to it yet. Anyway it is just a matter of installing a gasket and filling up the system. All the things like AC pump and other parts of the system work fine! Driver's window needs a 5$ sliding part.
