Hello, Here is a beautiful 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL that is being sold for a customer of mine that has recently bought into some property and would like to liquidate some of his assets. I own a Mercedes shop here in Ringgold GA and have maintained and worked on this car for several years. The car came to me running quite poorly. I ended up having the fuel distributor rebuilt, new EHA, new injectors and seals, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor and wires replaced. The fuel system was completely cleaned, new fuel pump and check valve. New fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator were also installed. The valves were adjusted and new valve cover gaskets as well. Now the car runs and drives like a Mercedes 560SL should. Some recent work that was just done to the car includes a new radiator, system flush and a new thermostat. All new belts, shifter bushings, hood pad, headlight bezel surrounds, exhaust hangers and two new keys. We replaced the soft top with new German canvas, and all the seals were replaced as well. The owner never had any intentions of selling this car, but he needs to raise some cash, so it must go. In the past two years well over 8k was invested into this car. Yea it has a few dings, scuffs and scrapes, but mechanically it is top notch. The cosmetic issues were going to be handled next......that's the way it should be done. I see so many cars that look good, but mechanically they are a mess. The drivers seat on this car has a small hole in the left bolster.
