1985 MERCEDES 300CD TURBO DIESEL 2 DOOR COUPE (5 OWNER HISTORY) THIRTY YEAR ANNIVERSARY SURVIVOR OF THE LEGENDARY W123 MODEL WITH 3.0L 5 CYLINDER TURBO DIESEL ENGINE. GOOD OVERALL CONDITION BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR. Price based on HAGERTY Condition #3 Washington State Title Free and Clear in my name. 25 MPG City 28 MPG Highway Anthracite Grey Exterior Palomino Leather Interior (Seat leather in very good condition, though typical Drivers seat wear does show some) Well maintained with most history records. Currently just serviced all lubes & filters (rear differential, transmission, engine, brakes, fuel, air) Original Owners manuals/books, many service reports from the past. Garaged all its life - no rust. Michelin Tires at 50% estimate (still quite some tread left) Original wheel and spare tire (like new, never used) with MB tool kit and car jack Many parts have been replaced over the history of the car, but I will list the most significant items I have taken care of recently: New Front Brakes - Rotors, Calipers and pads (rear new pads) Left rear axle (due to rubber joint seal wearing out) Glow plugs and electric relay Injectors- rebuilt with new nozzles and adjusted for pressure with new Injector rubber fuel lines Water Pump, Radiator and main hoses replaced along with new thermostat. Vacuum Pump renewed 1x new Chrome Bundt Wheel Window washer pump and hose. New JVC CD Stereo with bluetooth, hands free telephone capability (original radio comes with car) Weather rubber floor mats as well as MB carpet floor mats shown in photos HVAC vacuum actuators renewed...4x (works great) Manifold Gasket renewed Will come with a box full of spare parts (filters, belts, hoses, etc.) what I can find in my workshop belonging to the car. I have owned several W123 four door models in the past and love these work horse engines and how well built the 1980 Benz cars are. This 300 CD Coupe is the best sporty diesel a guy could have. The Turbo kicks in well and has power to accelerate and climb hills. No visible smoke on this car, and starts up as soon as key is turned. Cooling is perfect after engine flushed and all the new cooling parts. Transmission is smooth, and all vacuum systems working well including door locks. Shipping: Buyer to arrange pick-up and/or shipping of car. I will help deliver/assist to a shipping company locally in the Seattle, WA. area. I've had this car for almost three years. Only two owners before me. Great proactive maintenance over the years. Full maintenance history available upon request. I drive this car to work every day. Original engine. 160k miles. All the cons: There are two rust stains on the car pictured. There is also a superficial scratch on the passenger side rear door that is from a parking accident on my part. AC works well all though it takes about sixty seconds to get going. Everything interior works except antenna is broken. Radio still works, windows, interiors are nice.
