1983 Mercedes 300 D turbo Diesel This 300 D is in good condition, the car is White over blue MB tex interior. The following is the work scope performed within the last 4000 miles within a five (5) year period:The engine and transmission were removed. The engine was completely disassembled, inspected and reassembled; replacing the following components: Cylinder head and gasket, timing chain and tensioner, guide rails as necessary. A complete engine re-seal was done: replacing the water pump & thermostat, all coolant hoses, all new oil cooler lines, motor mounts, vacuum hoses. Transmission: The transmission was completely disassembled, inspected and overhauled and reassembled replacing the transmission cooler lines, transmission mount, transmission modulator valve.The drive shaft was removed and inspected. The front and rear drive shaft flex disc, center support and bearing were replaced. The brake system: Replaced rear brake hoses, rotors, pads and brake hoses.Front brake pads rotors, brake hoses, repacked wheel bearings and right, front brake caliper. Replenished all brake fluids with ATE DOT 4. Completely rebuilt the front end, replacing the following parts: Upper and lower control arm bushings, lower ball joints, brake reaction bushings, driver's side upper control arm, alignment, four brand new 205/70 R14 Sumo tires and chrome wheels.A/C system: new compressor, all new a/c hoses, expansion valve, receiver dryer bottle and converted to R134-A.Interior: The dashboard was replaced with a NOS dashboard and overhead control panel. All of the windows function properly, both rear window regulators and motors were replaced. Now for the bad; but not terrible: The paint is starting to peel on the roof and the trunk. The driver's seat has a tear. The vacuum door locks work but will need repair. Asking 7500.00 OBO.
