This vehicle has an amazing story. It was with the same owner since 1980, previous to that the owner in the 1970's bought the car from a retired soldier in Germany with no additional information. The car was brought to France in Avignon in 1980 and stayed with the owner ever since. Original German papers, manuals and documents with the history of the car comes with the car. This car was never registered outside Germany and arrived in the USA late 2014. All customs clearance papers and original documents do come with the car. The 170S Cabriolet did have an older restoration in the early 1980's. Engine is weak due to long storage. Only 39 were made in 1949. A recent head job was done with new head gasket. New carpet.
