Here is a beautiful 1967 Mercedes 250SE Coupe in Red with Black leather. This car is a manual with less than 55,000 miles. THIS IS ORIGINAL COLOR COMBO DB717 Papyrus White DB 516 Medium Red (Mittle Rot). You can check out paint codes here:http://www.landiss.com/paintcodes.htmThis very nice 250SE is nearly perfect and almost a Show car. This example has or had 2 owners over the course of its’ 49 years and we are brokering the car for the second owners daughter. The undercarriage has no rust at all and NO evidence of rust repair anywhere on the car. (Please see pictures). One thing is for sure; this stunning SE is mechanically sound and drives fantastic. The engine has been completely refreshed with new spark plugs, wires, condenser, rotor, points and ignition and many many other parts have been replaced. It starts on a dime and will drive you anywhere. Just a few other of the many new parts include: tires, hoses, wiper motor, battery. Engine does not leak and transmission has little to no play. Original manuals and spare tire, lug wrench and kit are also included. The title is clear, in our name and the car can be exported, transferred and registered in any state. Here is what I know to be true as documented in a History Channel Special:“………….Of the cars Mercedes ever made, the W111 is quite possibly their finest work to date. This car was built to drive. Its’ engine will last forever as long as the oil is changed and it is driven regularly. Little Bit of History Introduced in March 1954, the 220a was a more luxurious and up-scale version of the W120 model 180 with a wheelbase stretched by 170 mm (6.7 in). 100 mm (3.9 in) of that increase in length was necessary to accommodate the longer straight-6 engine taken from the W187 model 220, that in this application delivered 85 PS (63 kW; 84 hp) fed by a single carburettor. The passenger cabin was also lengthened by 70 mm (2.8 in) to provide an increase in the leg room available to rear seat passengers. From the side these six cylinder cars can readily be distinguished from their shorter four cylinder siblings by the extra "quarter light" windows incorporated in each of the rear doors. 220a production ended in April, 1956 with 25,937 units produced.
