I have no idea why that score, but Im so sure that you will love this car, that Im offering your money back, if you purchase, but find that you don't like the car for any reason! It drives and performs like an 87. There have been no problems indicative of a 27 for the last 52K I put on the car in the last 10 years. Vehicle has a salvage title, but does that really effect the drivability of the car? Not at all. I'm leading the sale of this beast with this info because I know how many people are scared of cars that have salvaged titles. This car has never been in an accident or had water damage, so the frame and all its components have always been in perfect shape. I was told that a previous owner drove the car with no antifreeze and messed up the engine. The engine was replaced with another AMG engine that had lesser miles than the car. I've owned and driven this car since I purchased it in 2004 with 35,000 miles on it. Obviously I didn't care about the title when I purchased it, because I knew it wasn't anything that mattered to how well the car would perform and she hasn't let me down for the last 10 years. Im looking for another Mercedes lover like myself that knows a powerhouse when you drive one and isn't scared of a label (salvaged) when it has no bearing on how well this car performs. At 135mph, a Vette in front of me had to pull over just to see who was keeping up with him and a guy on a motorcycle wasn't fast enough to get in front and cut me off in traffic. Purchased at 35k in 2004 and now at only 87,450 in 2014 = 52,000 miles in 10 years = 5,200 miles per year. Its easy to see that I don't get to drive it much due to operating my business. There's even more business now, so I unfortunately think its best to sell. Before I thought about selling, I purchased a few maintenance items that I will include with the car. ( Power Stop Rotors: Front, EBC Premium Brake Pads: Front and Rear ) Tired of seeing the same old Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, SRT8s, GTOs, and so on? Stand out from the crowd and even these car owners will be turning their heads at your AMG. I drove past a guy in a viper once, and he was checking out my car. It's a nice feeling to have so many heads turning from other car enthusiasts with some having vehicles that I believe are even nicer than mine. Their responses make me think they believe otherwise. Out of 10 years of owning this car, I've only seen 2 other same model AMGs on the road. Be the only person in your area with the last year that Mercedes made this model or maybe an AMG period. Afterwards, they went to the more rounded off style, which I never liked. Garage kept, and never raced, but always enjoyed the feel of the throttle and hugging the road. Tires only have about 3,000 miles, radiator is brand new (installed Oct 9,2014). There are a few light scratches on the vehicle. I believe I noted everything pertinent to the sale of this beautiful car including the condition. The car is for sale locally, so of course its first come, first serve. The car will smoke about anything on the road and looks classy while doing so. I can get 25 MPG on the hwy, haul 4 adults and their stuff, and still toast all the Mustangs and the older Vettes. Routine maintenance is expensive - but tolerable. I am pretty sure this car will be remembered as a classic MB. High forged pistons and AMG engine quality. Much better then Mercedes Benz alone. Buy a car with 100k miles, and your buying an AMG motor that will last almost twice as long. Unbelievable gas mileage, computer states exactly 24mpg on the highway at 75mph!!! An aggressive yet subtle styling. Very wide 275/45 rear tires. Even the elderly notice these! I looked at and drove BMW's, Audi's and a few domestics, but the E 55 blew them all away! With 355 bhp (according to factory specs) you'll be attaining 0-60 in just under 6 sec. It's a true rocket ship that I just have a lot of fun driving. True, a bit expensive on repairs, but this thing is worth the effort! Go get one and enjoy! Also have an 02 E430 and this outperforms in every way. I'm getting 22 MPG on the highway at 70 - 80 MPH average, better than my 6 cylinder 95 legend (which is also a great car).
