This Mercedes is unique in that despite its age (28 years) it has only 32,500 original miles. The original owner put only approximately 5000 miles on it and sold it to the owner from whom I purchased it approximately 3 years ago when it was approximately only 1 year old. I have put only about 2000 miles on it. The owner from whom I purchased it, obviously, used it very sparingly over the many years he owned it. I experienced no mechanical problems with the car and neither did either of the previous owners. It should be noted that if the car is allowed to idle in hot weather (e.g. in a traffic jam), the AC output is significantly reduced. I understand this may be remedied by adding another fan to the cooling system or some similar remedy. Other than the aforesaid circumstance, the AC system works very well and sufficiently cools the car in hot weather. Both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition. There are no known defects. (I will try to add more photos soon; not so easy as I am in California and the car is stored near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.) The company with which the car is insured (Amica) values the car at approximately $13,900 and requires that it be insured for this amount. I have thus far been unable to locate accurate Kelly Blue Book information regarding its value due to the inordinately low mileage. Regardless, by every indication the vehicle is worth far more than the price for which it has been offered for sale. The paint was buffed and new pinstriping applied.
