Up for sale is my 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300d. 5 cylinder turbo-diesel. Completely rust-free except for 1 small spot lower driver side rear quarter [shown in last picture]. All 4 jacking points are perfect as seen in the pictures and the floors, trunk are also rust-free. This was a southern car till about 6 years ago and never driven in northern winters. I am the 3rd owner with my dad being the 2nd. He purchased from the original owner. Please check out the Autocheck report which speaks for itself. Body is laser straight except for a couple dings on the deck lid. The paint is 100% factory original, never wrecked. Currently has a transmission problem and needs motor mounts. Starts right up every time. Engine is strong and I have a stack of maintenance records 3 inches thick. Interior is nice without any rips in the seats. Headliner is perfect. The transmission shifts hard and sometimes has problems going up hills. Title is free and clear and in my name. $100 Paypal deposit required within 24 hrs of auction ending. Up for your consideration is a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series, 350SDL Turbo Diesel 4-door Sedan.** Purchased in 2002 from the original owner with 158,100 miles on it, this roomy, full-sized sedan still runs like a top, but like most older vehicles it is beginning to show its age. Specifics are as follows: The Good: - (2) owner, well maintained vehicle - Engine and transmission work as they should, glow plugs too - No major leaks or smoke - Interior in above average condition - Tires have 90% tread - Exhaust replaced at 150k miles - Sunroof operates and does not leak - Would not hesitate to drive it cross-country The Bad: - A/C and heat work, A/C may need charging, thermostat control is temperamental - Radio does not work, attempted new antenna, has not worked since - Front bumper, front fenders and rear quarter panel have some rusting - Front lower cowl is cracked - Paint and clear coat have seen better days - Front passenger side and left rear window don't operate as they should (blown fuses) - Tear on driver's seat - Gas gauge works, however, until it reaches 1/2 empty, it doesn't register how much fuel is in the tank Car is being sold AS-IS, where-is and with all defects. Mercedes Benz 300D New Monark injectors, New battery, New glow plugs, New brake pads on all 4 wheels, Valves adjusted, All new filters and fluids(brakes, oil, power steering pump, rear end, transmission)tires have about 10,000 miles on them. If you know anything about these cars they will run forever and can run on alternative fuels. Great dependable car!!! Runs great!!!
