Located in stafford springs, CT 06076. Up for sale is my 2004 mazda rx8. I bought this car last year with a blown motor. I completely rebuilt the engine with all brand new parts supplied by goopy performance out of new York. I still have all of the empty parts bags as well as photographs of the complete build to prove it. Just the parts alone cost me over $1600. I have only put about 4 thousand miles on this car since then. it has about 90k miles on the entire car. I am the second owner. The reason I am selling is because I would like to buy a 350z, and need the funds to do so. This car is fast and fun, and handles better than almost any other car I have driven. Manual 6 speed transmission with brand new clutch and pressure plate. Along with the rebuild I added in an "OMP" adapter. What this does is redirects the oil metering pump so you can directly inject 2 stroke oil instead of the dirty oil pan oil, which also allows you to run full synthetic oil in the car, ( which is not recommended unless you have the omp adapter). If you would like to learn more about this just google omp adapter for mazda rx8. It also increases the life of the engine. I have only run amsoil in the engine since rebuild. It has the upgraded starter. The interior is flawless red and black leather. Everything works. Heated seats. The exterior of the car is nearly flawless as well, with just a few light scratches as all used cars get, and a small bubble starting at the gas door. The exhaust is an eBay cat back special. It doesn't increase hp just makes it sound good. This car is NOT a hack job. Adult owned and driven. It is a super clean, reliable and unmolested rx8. Everything else is bone stock. The rear end has limited slip. The only thing this car could use is rear tires and an A/C recharge, because it was disconnected when the motor was pulled. I will try to have it fixed by the end of the auction but THERE IS NO GAURANTEE. It's currently registered and still being driven on nice days, so expect the mileage to go up a little.
