2004 Mazda RX-8 Coupe 4-Door 1.3L 6-speed Manual Transmission ***DETAILED PHOTOS COMING SOON*** Please take the time to read the entire listing and view all the pictures. I try to describe the vehicle to the best of my ability but the pictures will give you a better idea of the vehicle's overall condition. The time has come for me to sell my beloved Mazda RX-8. I have owned this vehicle for 6 years but it is time to let it go. I drive 33 miles to work (one way) so this is not a practical car for me at the moment. I have taken good care of this vehicle and it works and looks great! I prefer local pickup but if interested, out of state buyer will be fully responsible for shipping arrangements. It has had regular maintenance done consistently, I have the majority of service records available dating back to 2009. Oil was changed every 3,000 miles. I recently replaced the clutch kit and reinforced the clutch pedal to avoid the issue described here: so the clutch is brand new (not the pedal). As stated above, the car has around 88,000 miles on it at the moment, this number will go up a bit since I am still driving it. The original engine was replaced by Mazda under warranty, so the new engine has around 44,000 miles on it. All paperwork related to this replacement will be included. Interior shows little wear (only tear is in the shift boot, which has a small hole, see picture), the paint still shines like new. I recently replaced both the driver and passenger side sun visors. They are both in great condition. It is also worth mentioning that these cars had a known issue with moisture/water getting inside the tail lights. I have addressed this issue by replacing the gasket and resealing the taillight enclosures. More information on this here: Car comes with spare tire kit. All recalls have been completed, the last one was done in July, 2015 (replaced driver side air bag inflator). Car includes two sets of keys + FOBs and a valet key, so a total of three keys and 2 FOBs. Owner's manual is also included. I will even include two small bottles of Titanium Gray Touch up Paint (29Y) Cons: The heater/AC (temperature) control is a bit quirky, this is a known issue with these cars, it is a simple fix but I honestly have not had the time to repair it myself. You can find a description, as well as a solution to this known problem in this link: . The A/C - heater unit itself works without any problems. Tires are in OK condition but the rear ones might need replacement. (3/32 or 4/32 thread depth). Small dings here and there (minimal but all will be shown in pictures) and shift knob shows some wear.
