Just purchased from Craigslist less than 2 weeks ago, decided to put back up due to amount of work needed I brought this car to a service center in order to diagnose the car and have the full estimate posted to the listing in a picture, if you cannot see the wording, I will email you a pdf if you want it *Note the estimate has $600 of labor on parts (belt, gasket, pump kit) I was going to provide (mentioned later in description) Cons: Needs work on axles, ball joints, steering, and tie rods (see picture) Cracked Windshield and bad long scratch, near edge above hood (see pictures) Interior is old and has blistering and cracks (see pictures) A/C does not work and is likely not just a recharge (it's a convertible :P) Pros: - Previous owner repainted the car (does have some spots of chips and cracks near trunk, see pictures) - Has new tires and wheels: American racing Estrella (stock 14") and douglas gth tires (Walmart brand) - I had the seats steam cleaned and interior detailed prior to learning of the issues, looks good and smells newer ($125) Car also has aftermarket exhaust on it Car has adjustable aftermarket shocks, have not looked into this at all, service center stated "yes it does have expensive shocks on it that are adjustable" Car has aftermarket roll bar installed Misc new parts added this week - New wipers - New cup holder (LOL, $20) - Fixed tubing to washer nozzles myself Available and can include if you want to pay for the parts: New Full timing belt, water pump, gasket, set/kit New spark plugs and wires full set New double touchscreen stereo 7" screen These were purchased with intention of placing them in the car and now since I am reselling, I will get rid of them unless you would like to take for yourself Don't be discouraged if you are looking for a decent Miata! If you have the know how to repair and you buy the parts yourself, a large amount could be saved on the repairs and make this a great car. Keep in mind the estimate is from a garage with marked up parts and high hourly labor costs. WILL NOT BE SHIPPING OR TRAILERING THIS CAR.

I bought this car in 2005 when it had 9600 miles on it. I have taken excellent care of this vehicle. Maintenance has been done timely. The convertible top does NOT leak. New Brakes, New Alternator, New Radiator was replaced in Sept, 2014, due to breaking of Alternator Belt. 4 Toyo tires were replaced in 2009 when the car had approx. 50,000miles(sorry, I lost the receipt, can not remember exactly) It has a couple of 1/2 cm scratches on hood passenger side, (does not even show up in pictures), the driver's side door lock has 2 1/2cm white spots? I was going to touch up these areas myself, but did not want to do anything wrong to spoil my car. The Battery was replaced in August of 2013, has a 3year warranty. I have not replaced the Timing Belt yet, but the mechanic that replaced the radiator, etc. said it and the water pump are "good to go". The anti-theft system was decreased to minimal sensitivity because it kept alarming to loud noises. This has been, and still is a great car for me, but as I stated earlier, I have since become a grandmother, and have also begun to think about retiring from work and or working part-time, going to use sale proceeds to pay off some bills. I will not give this car away. With continued good maintenance, it can last another 100,000 miles
