So why am I selling it? This summer I bought a new Subaru BRZ as my daily driver. I maintained the fantasy for a couple of months that I would convert the Miata to a track-day toy, but given the time-demands of my job, the reality is that it needs to find another home. What do you need to know? This Miata should only be fueled with Premium-grade (93 Octane or higher) gasoline.While this Miata has been garaged nearly it’s entire life, it has rust on both rear quarter panels, and some small signs of bubbling paint in a few places (you can see in the pictures). Apparently, this rear quarter panel rust is somewhat common for this body style – caused by how the water drains from the convertible top. On a cold start you will hear a squeaking from one of the two accessory belts (instead of one serpentine belt, the car has two belts) at idle when power-consuming options are turned on. For example, if you turn on the heater, the headlights, the fog lights, lower the power windows and turn the steering wheel immediately after starting the car with a cold motor, the belts will surely squeak. Replacement belts will come with the purchase of this car – apologies, but I just haven’t had the time to install them.This Miata was struck while parked nearly three years ago, resulting in cosmetic damage that was fully covered by insurance and professionally repaired by Parchment Collision in Kalamazoo, MI. If I were to keep it, what would I do with it? I seriously considered keeping this car as my daily driver for another couple of years. I love driving it – even in a Michigan winter it is a blast to drive with dedicated Winter tires. The Borla exhaust sounds beautiful, and the Momo steering wheel feels perfect in my hands. If I had kept this as my daily driver I may consider eventually replacing the windshield. When driving directly into a sunset, the age of the windshield is apparent. I might consider taking the car to a body shop for an estimate to repair the rust; or, I might just keep driving it as is for the next 100,000 miles. The other option is to install a roll-bar and prep the car for track work. This car has never been on the track, which is a shame. Maybe its new owner will give it the performance destiny it deserves …

Selling because it no longer fits in garage, and has become too much of a chore to upkeep after a more expensive vehicle purchase. Car has never seen the snow or salt (garaged in Michigan). The car was originally yellow, and was painted red -- paint is in pretty good shape aside from scratches and dings, no watermarks or fading, only slight difference in tone between metal and plastic parts. Top is in goos shape, but has one tear when the car was broken into (welcome to Michigan), it was fixed (does not let water in), but still an eyesore.Windshield is cracked pretty bad, 2 time this happens. Needs some clutch work as noted when 105K service was done -- I didn't have it done because I figured I would sell it. Can ship anywhere (buyer arranges shipping, but I can help coordinate). Very fun car to drive, simple to maintain, looks very good with top down and cover on convertible top.

This is a great 3 owner Miata, I have only owned it a short time. I wanted a summer toy but just found another car I want so I need to sell. The couple I bought it from owned it since 2003 and put about 24k miles on it since then, always stored indoors and in great condition and drives wonderful. everything works good except for one speaker recently started to sound clouded once in a while. I read online that these can get wet and are known to do that. This has the bose stereo, power antenna, cruise, air. top in perfect condition. car has not been driven hard or abused. a few small paint chips Tires are brand new installed. 6-11-15 with less 500 miles on the. I also put new wires, plugs and o2 sensor Factory mazda part which alone was 250.Great fun car. yes the miles are original.
