I now work from home 100% of the time and have family medical bills to pay, so I unfortunately I need to sell. Having been garaged and never parked near other cars in a parking lot, it is in "like new" condition, there have been no issues with the car and it has been only Mazda dealer serviced. When new I had a professional installation of 3M™ Scotchgard Paint Protection Film Pro Series "clear bra" on the nose, half-way up the hood, on rear bumper, mirror backs, door handle cavities, door edges, lower extremities, etc. Here are some details about the car: The I-Sport trim level is equipped with the Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter gasoline engine and Skyactiv-MT 6-speed manual transmission. Has 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, power-operated side-view mirrors and automatic headlight shutoff. Push-button start, six-way adjustable cloth seats with driver's lumbar adjustment, power windows with a driver's side 1-touch auto up/down feature, 60/40-split fold-down rear seats, cruise control, leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise control functions, and air conditioning with a pollen filter are also standard features. The standard entertainment system is a 6-speaker AM/FM/CD system that can deliver MP3/SiriusXM satellite radio reception. Up for Sale is a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 AWD Turbo Grand Touring Sedan, with approximately 130,000 miles. I am selling it for parts or a project car! I am an honest seller and I realize someone may want this as a project car. If you take it on as a project you are responsible for its future mechanically. I will not stand by this vehicle as a ready to drive vehicle, and therefore I don't imply any warranty. Unfortunately , it has one dead cylinder. It could be a stuck valve, but I found oil on the spark plug, which leads me to believe it has a collapsed or broken piston ring. I tested the cylinder with a compression gauge, and it was considerably lower than the other four cylinders. The AC compressor needs to be replaced, for the clutch bolt broke. The body has some rust spots including one on the hood, rear window pillar, and under the rear fender. There is some body filler on the rear fender from a hit and run accident, which is now cracked from a shopping cart hit. The corner bumper on the drivers side is pressed in slightly, and there is a dent near the tail light. Although I am selling this as strictly a parts car, with the right skills someone could resurrect this rare car. Stock this car rips from 0-60 in under 6 seconds. It's getting harder to find these cars, and although it pains me to part with her, I can't dump any more time and money into her. The turbo was replaced at 18,000 miles at the dealer (famous bad seals), and the VVT actuator, timing chain, and guides were replaced three weeks ago! Keep in mind the parts are valuable, for just the Xenon lights are worth $500 a pair! The interior is leather and in good shape, with heated front seats, and a very nice factory Bose Stereo. The tires could be included in the deal, but keep in mind I spent over 700 dollars for them about three months back (Continental Extreme Contact DWS) .
