1979 MAZDA 1 GEN. RX-7 for sale. This is a brilliantly original 1979 Mazda RX7 in original Silver with Luxury Burgundy Velour interior. This car has its original unmodified 12a Rotary Engine. It has a 5-speed gearbox.This car is a real beauty and it drives and handles amazingly well. It has its original paint and clear coat. paint has pitted spot all around and some very few minor dings there a some very small rusted spots around the bottom rear wheel wells but you will have to bend down to really notice them. The interior is also 100% original and the seats were recently re-upholstered in its original color and pattern. the headliner, dash board, door & instrument panel are in amazing condition (even the original analog clock works and keep accurate time). I am the second owner of this vehicle, he and I both kept the car in our garage. The only non original upgrade is a Clarion cd player, but the original radio was never removed and should still work. Recent work done to vehicle in the past year: 1. Full tune up. (Wires, spark plugs, points, condenser).2. All fluids drained and replaced ( engine, trans, differential, brake and radiator)3. Muffler and tail pipe (replaced and some repair)4. Water pump, thermostat and hoses replaced5. New power antenna6. New tires (10/5/2015)7. New Door weather seal moldings8. Air Conditioning system charged ( Working A/C ). Issues: Normal Initial white smoke at cold star-up and a couple oil drops from bottom of car (goes away after 1 min. normal for a soon to be 37 yr old car). Could use new shocks absorbers.
