Summary:Up for sale is a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 that has seen many upgrades. I have had this car since new in October 2009. It started out as the wife's car then she got a new one. The engine was rebuilt with upgraded parts and wrapped in Smoldering Satin Red 3M vinyl in October of 2015. Since then I have only put about 2,000 miles on the car. I just do not have time to enjoy the car and need to sell it to fund other projects I have going on. I keep a battery tender on the car when I am not driving it. The car has some small dings here and there and a couple of very small dents on the roof from a storm a few years back. The dents are very very small and hard to capture on camera. The not so good details:The rear bumper will need to be repainted if the wrap is removed. The rear bumper was repainted shortly after we bought the car because my wife scraped against stationary van in a parking lot. The painter did not prep the bumper well so in the process of removing an existing wrap the paint peeled. I just wet sanded it smooth and re-wrapped it in the current color. Due to time I have not finished the tune that I started with Freek Tuning. I recommend contacting them (or any other reputable MazdaSpeed tuner) to get a complete tune when you get the vehicle to its final destination. The car has everything it needs to be at ~500 HP except for the complete tune. The car is in great condition for the year, flawless metallic paint and good windows, no chipping or pitting. There are two small dings on the outside and an exhaust shroud is broken but that is an easy fix. On the inside it is in good shape as well. The dashboard is cracked but that is a common issue for these cars. The check engine light is on because it needs a new gas cap and the coolant light is on because of a faulty sensor in the reservoir but that is a common issue with these cars. As long as you keep an eye on the coolant level, you're golden. The car is in excellent mechanical condition, it runs and drives fantastically. It has the 1.3L Wankel Rotary engine and it makes phenomenal power for it's size. It is a quick little car and I have never asked for more get up from it. The only reason I am selling it is because I cannot afford it anymore. It's the Grand Touring edition so it's fully loaded. It has keyless entry, HID headlights, heated leather seats, power drivers seat, cruise control, navigation system, Bose audio with 9 speakers, 6 disc cd changer, power sunroof, power windows, Homelink auto dimming rearview mirror, heated exterior mirrors. I do not want to part with this very fun car to drive but we have too many cars, my wife says. This 99 NB was purchased in Texas from the shop owner and father of ATS Racing. It belonged to the father of the shop owner as a weekend cruiser. Never raced and never modified except for the engine swap for the better JDM engine. The JDM engine comes with paperwork that says it has between 40 and 60 thousand miles on it. That means the cars body has 130 thousand miles and due to the original owner not changing the oil, a low mileage and higher horsepower/torque engine was put in by ATS Racing. You can see their website at atsracing . NET or stop by the place in Denton, Texas, just outside Dallas metro area. They specialize in turbo chargers for Toyota MR2's and decided the JDM was nasty enough on its own to mess with a turbo kit. I love driving this car and my daughter loves riding with her father more than anything. It has been garage kept by previous owners and myself. It does have a few dings and scratches but nothing noticeable at a short distance. The wheels are 17" Koni's. The tires are like new with less than 2000 miles on them. The convertible top is patched up about six inches and does not leak. The roll bar is a Hard Dog double that makes the car safer and better handling in the curves. The battery and belts are new. You will not find a better play car or daily driver. 30mpg for a commuter car or turn it into a track car very easily.
