2011 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE S The 2011 Maserati Quattroporte is a full-size luxury sedan available in S and Sport GTS trim levels. The base Quattroporte is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 400 hp. Upgrading to the S or GTS trim boosts power with an upgraded 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 430 hp (S) and 440 hp (GTS). Equipped with RWD and a 6-speed automatic transmission the Quattroporte gets an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. An independent double wishbone front suspension coupled with shock absorbers gives the driver silky smooth ride quality. It was powered by a Ferrari-inspired 4.2-liter V8 engine that was rated at 396 horsepower. While the car carried over to 2006 with no changes, in 2007, the Quattroporte got a new automatic transmission, a redone center console, and an updated V8 engine that was less noisy. Interior hue options were restyled as well during this model year. The 2008 U.S. model did not feature the F1-style DuoSelect clutchless gearbox. Maserati also made various minor changes to trim levels and options, adding the Collezione Cento model to the luxury fleet. In 2009, Maserati offered three trims, including: Base, S and the popular Sport GT S. The carmaker revamped the front and rear lights, adding LED strips, and also introduced a new grille for the front. A new Bose multimedia sound system was added, and various subtle changes were made to the interior options. The 2009 and 2010 models had nominal cosmetic tweaks made and various trim level adjustments. The Quattroporte rolled through 2011, 2012 and 2013 relatively unchanged.
