Maserati Merak 1980. Euro Car small bumper. Imported from Ancona Italy in 1990s. Rare 2 litre version built for Italian market. One of 200 units built. 13 800 km. approximately 8300 miles. Previous owner 77 years old. Repainted years ago by Ferrari authorized shop. Paint (Glasurit base coat clear coat) is excellent. Looks like all accessories were removed when car was repainted. Rebuilt heads. Have receipts for parts from Onorio Campana (Modena) for bearings and gaskets. Previous owner told me this car was the Paris show car in 1980 but I have no proof of that. Never accidented. Extremely clean interior, near new actually. Minor bolster wear if any on the driver seat. Dash mouse fur is as new. Door and hood gaps are perfect. Some books and tools. Included will be a 3 litre engine which needs rebuild. Car presently has its original 2 litre engine. Starts efforlessly. Was not used much in past 10 years. Car had brake work done in past 3 years. Maserati Merak SS 1981. Red with black interior. Engine recently rebuilt and has just been run in. Parts from Candini and Campana in Italy. Polished valve covers. Gas tanks removed and ceramic coated. Interior is excellent plus. Seats are as new condition. Carpeting near new. Carburators were rebuilt. Doors open and shut effortlessly. Door and hood gaps are perfect. Does not look like it ever has had any accident damage anywhere. No rust on the body. Car was repainted at an authorized Ferrari dealer about 10 years ago in Glasurit base coat/clear coat and was seldom used. One of the nicer SS Maseratis out there. I will include 4 brand new tires. Some minor curb rash on one wheel. Overall extremely nice. Also have a non SS Three litre Merak with 6000 miles with engine presently being rebuilt. Interior is mint. contact me for any other information. After contacting Maserati, I was told it was one of the last 20 off the assembly line and sold new in Baltimore in 1981-82. Car presently located in Montreal. It is EPA DOT exempt for going back into the usa. I will assist in all shipping and clearance. Car presently shows 63 000 miles
